Chapter 19

<Y/n p.o.v.>

Everyone dressed up as priests.

"A Devil actually putting on priest clothes" Saji said.

"Not without kicking and screaming" Irina said.

"Nothing will stand in the way of me and my goal" Kiba said.

"I think we'll be more efficient in two groups. Let's split up" Xenovia said.

I hid my guns away.

We all split up.

But not before Xenovia decided to slam us with vital information that the White Dragon had awakened.

After everyone had searched a good side of town I noticed Izzy looking concerned.

"Honey, you ok" I asked.

"Yeah, just trying to figure out where we should go next" Izzy said.

"Probably someplace without people" Kiba said.

I turned to Kiba.

"You know somewhere" I asked.

She nodded.

She led the way.

As we were walking I felt Koneko grab my hand.

"You all good" I asked.

"Does there have to be something wrong to hold my lover's hand" Koneko asked.

"By all means no, do you want a kiss as well" I asked.

She blushed and shyly nodded.

I picked her up and kissed her.

She wrapped her hands around my head and sunk into it.

Her kisses were sweet.

Once the kiss broke I kissed her cheek.

"That better" I asked.

She nodded.

Once we made it to Kiba's destination we realized we were in a familiar place.

"Oh hey I remember this place. This is where we met the Stray Devil Viser" I said.

"Viser was a Stray" Saji asked.

"Yeah, but now she's got a good life ahead of her thanks to Ika. Speaking of Ika, how has Sona and her relationship with him going" I asked.

"Not good actually, he still avoids Sona and the others like a plague. Thankfully I'm fine to hang around with since I've done nothing to harm him" Saji said with a smile.

We walked to the steps of the place.

"Kiba hold on" Koneko said.

We felt an uneasy presence.

"ABOVE US" I said.

On top of the building was Freed!

He jumped off the building to try and slash us.

Kiba blocked his strike with her sword.

Kiba pushed him back.

"I forgot to thank you for earlier" Freed said.

"For what" Kiba said.

"Is that a stray priest" Saji asked.

"You psychotic bastard" Izzy said.

I pulled out my guns.

"Oh hi! If it isn't the little midget and friends" Freed said.

This comment upset Koneko.
