Lydia's POV
We went to bed once we got home, and woke up with a smile on our faces, turning our heads to look at each other. "So, how are we going to celebrate?" Carly asked me, "The day is all yours." she added. "I think we should go clothes shopping and go to a special shop." I told her, trying not give away anything. I wanted to buy a engagement ring for her and propose. I wanted to surprise her. "What kind of special shop?" she asked me, grabbing my hand and kissed the back of it. "I want to go there on my own, so you have to do something for a little bit." I replied, "Oh, okay. That makes me feel a bit sad that I can't go in with you. I don't want you to get scammed or anything." she said, making me sigh a little. I leaned forward and pressed my lips against hers. She kissed me back, before I got out of the bed and did my normal routine by having a shower, eating some food and so on.
When it got to the afternoon, it was time to spend some money at last. We held hands as we were walking down the street, and into the shopping centre. "The shop I need to go to is that way, so you can do some clothes shopping. I will come and find you when I'm done." I told Carly, watching her nod and moved some strands of her hair away from her face and behind her ear. "Alright, I love you. Don't get scammed." she told me back before she kissed my cheek and walked away. I was actually a bit shocked that she listened. I blushed a light shade of pink and turned around, heading to the ring shop.
In the ring shop, I was trying to pick out a beautiful ring for Carly, looking at all the shelves and was looking at the prices. I didn't want to go too crazy with spending. Then, I found something that I knew Carly would love with a passion. It costed a thousand, and that was good enough for me. I then bought the ring at the till and put the box in my bag. I then left the ring shop and went into the clothes shop to meet up with my unsuspecting girlfriend. "Hey, babe. Found what you were looking for?" she asked me as she was looking at some jackets. "Yeah, I did." I told her before she looked up at me and smiled, then watched her eyes wonder into my bag. "No peaking." I whispered into her ear before she giggled at me. "I wasn't peaking, babe. You know I don't do that." she purred. Wow, flirting in public...
A few hours later, we were back home again and was sorting out the new clothes. Then, I got some food and Carly got hers...by feeding on me. I wrapped my arms around her, getting very used to this now. She pulled her fangs out and kissed me deeply, causing me to let out a soft moan as I kissed her back.
I couldn't wait to propose to her.
I think I was going to do a brave thing and propose to her on the blood moon. And then I remembered.
"You'll make a perfect vampire, one day."
