• Third person Pov: Gaara •

Gaara sat in his room for three days. Not coming out to eat or even see anyone. Temari and Kankuro tried to get him to come out but they had no luck. Lee even stopped by but Gaara refused to come out of his room. Finally after three days had passed he came out of his room.

"Gaara...You're out of your room finally?"
Temari said looking over at Gaara who went to the kitchen to get something to eat.

"Yeah I'm fine now I just needed a break."
He replied before eating some fruit he ahd gotten out of the fridge.

"Well that was a long ass break."
Kankuro replied seeming a bit worried.

Gaara's face was pale and it looked as though he had drained his face of any tears that were in there. He looked unwell.

"You know that there are only two days till the party right?"
Temari said looking over at Gaara who had sat bext to her.

"Yeah I know."

"Do you plan on coming with us?"

"Well I guess I'll go but I don't eat to stay to long."

"Okay fair enough. Who did you get by the way?"
Temari asked him.

"I got Neji."

"Oh okay. I got Sakura. And do you want to tell us about what happened the other night?"

"I don't really want to talk about it.."

"You can tell us Gaara we are your siblings."

"Well...I was supposed to meet with Lee at his house. We were going to hang out there for a bit. When I got there I let myself in and I herd Tenten upstairs with Lee. I went upstairs and then..."

He froze whilst replaying the events in his mind. He took a deep breath before continuing.

"Then they kissed and I left..."

"Wow that- I'm sorry Gaara."

Temari wrapped her arms around him, hugging him.  He sat silently returning the hug.

"I'm okay now."

"Alright then. "

Temari replied as she let go of Gaara. He got up and went to take a shower and get cleaned up. After he went out with Temari and Kankuro to get something good to eat.

They had stopped at Ichiraku's Ramen to grab some lunch. The three of them sat and enjoyed their food for a bit with light conversation. Soon The three of them were greeted by Shikamaru and Choji who were also out for lunch.

• Time skip •

'Tomorrow I guess.'
Gaara thought to himself as he would lay in bed. The next day was the party. He was excited to see some of his friends but with the incident he wasn't sure if je wanted to attend. He had already told Temari he was going so it was too late to back down.

He sighed as he closed his eyes to try and get some rest. He had to mentally prepare for the next day and how he'd react to the situation. He decided he would just ignore it.

'Why am I so upset? It's not like we are together. If she is what he is into then so what?'

He thought to himself as a tear leaked from his eye and rolled down his cheek.

• Third person Pov: Lee •

Tomorrow was the party and Lee was panicking. He hadn't even gotten Gaara a gift yet, let alone hoe was he going to talk to him. He hadn't seen him since that night. He had herd from Shikamaru that he seemed okay but he wouldn't let his chance slip away.

He didn't need to buy a gift for Gaara. He knew exactly what he was going to give him.
