(Third person Pov: Gaara)

Gaara woke up around around his usual time even though he didn't set his alarm. He looked over at the clock.

' 6:30...hm why am I up so early '

He thought to himself. He looked out the window, the sky was grey as he could hear the comforting rain tapping on his window like a kid inviting him out to play. He pulled the blankets up and layed down as he gazed into the rainfilled streets. There was a dim lamp in his room that shed a small amount of light into his small room.

He decided to get up around 7-ish to take a shower and get cleaned up. After his shower he had some breakfast and sat in the living room to watch some TV.

'The party is at about noon so I have a lot of time to myself '

He thought to himself as he flipped through the channels trying to find some to entertain him for a while.

Eventually Temari and Kankuro joined him in the living room as they ate breakfast. The sat and watched TV for a bit until it was about time to get ready.

( Third person Pov: Lee)

Lee was up early as usual. It was about 5 am when he awoke. He followed his morning routine which was to work out then shower and lastly get ready for the day.

After he was finished he ate some breakfast. He didn't have training today because Gai gave him a day off for the party.

{Time Skip}
•Third person Pov:Gaara•

Gaara, Temari, and Kankuro all arrived together at the party a bit early. They were greeted at the door by Sakura who was giving Christmas hats to everyone.

They went inside and Temari and Kankuro immediately went to the table with the snacks, leaving Gaara alone. He got himself a drink of Lemmonade and sat alone on the couch in the living room as everyone conversated.

Eventually Temari and Kankuro joined him on the couch with their food, as they tried to convince him to try seven different snacks they had.

"Come on you have to try these cookies! They are chocolate your favorite!" Temari said with a mouth full.

"Yeah man! Try these too!" Kankuro said as the food he was eating fell out of his mouth.

"I'm okay I don't want anything to eat right now." He refused.

There weren't many people who had arrived. Sakura and Ino, who had thrown the party, Shikamaru and Choji who came together, and Hinata who had been early to help with preparations.

•Third person Pov: Lee •

Lee suddenly woke up. He had fallen asleep after he ate breakfast. He looked at the time.

'3:30...what did I-'

He realized he was late. He practically jumped out of his seat and ran upstairs. He got himself ready and ran outside.

He grabbed his things and dashed put the door on his way to the party. He stopped on the way to get some pastries for they party. Soon he arrived at Sakura's house and knocked on the door.

"Oh. Lee! Glad you could make it!"
Sakura said handing him a hat and taking the pastries out of his hands and taking them to the table.

"Of course I did!"
He said smiling.

He came inside and made his way to the kitchen.

~Time Skip~

It wad about 4pm and everyone had finally arrived.

"Alright! Time for the secret Santa gift exchange!"
Sakura announced excitedly

(Third person POV: Gaara)

He got up from the couch and started to look around for whom he had bought for. He eventually spotted Neji giving noise canceling headphones to Shikamaru who seemed very grateful. He approached shyly with the gift Le had gelped him pick out

"Neji righ..?"
He asked as he fumble for the gift he purchased.

Neji smiled and happily expected the gift from Gaara. He opened the bag and and pulled out a pair of special prescription glasses.

He smiled, "How did you know to get something like this for me?"

"I had some help from a friend."
He said spotting Lee out of the corner of his eye.

"Thank you-"
Neji was cut off by Gaaras "You're welcome" As he turned to leave and find his sister. He noticed the Lee was following him and just didn't know if he was ready to talk to him.

'This is stupid. We weren't even dating. Why do I have such a problem with him and Tenten?'

He thought to himself as he stopped and turned to face Lee.
