Chapter Twelve

Seth helped Gina get down from the car and prevented Marcel, who ran down from the stairs to hug Gina, from jumping on her.

Gina looked around the house, he has already placed security around the house again.
"Look who's with us again", she heard Liam's voice and turned.

He probably knew he was cheating on me
She thought and noticed she frowned her face too much it ached.
She released her muscles and tried to smile.

She didn't listen to whatever else they were saying until they walked into the house and she excused herself.
She went to check on Baby and found Rosa patting her back to fall asleep.
Her eyes widened,
"Rosa?", She said not recognizing her own voice. She's been crying too much.
Rosa hushed her and slowly got off the bed and they slowly left the room with the door open.

"When did you come back?",
"Last night, sorry for not coming to the hospital, I had to take care of the kids",
"No, thank you", she said and hugged her,
"How are you now?", She asked patting her back, just like she did Baby,
"Am okay", she said but she wanted to share everything with her. She wiped the tear threatening to fall,
"Just need a little rest", she said releasing her,
"Sure, I'll get dinner ready",
"I don't think am hungry",
"You need to eat to recover, you don't look good", she said already heading to the kitchen. Gina smiled and turned to go to her room but she heard Liam's voice and decided to just listen.

She went closer but she couldn't make out what they were saying. She stayed for awhile and left.
While she walked to the room, her phone buzzed. She lazily raised her hand and tapped on the message and it opened to a picture of Marcel, smiling with one of his front teeths gone.
Gina frowned her face trying to check the contact and another message came in,

Any wrong move and a bullet will go through his head

Gina screamed and the phone fell off her already trembling hand.
In no seconds Seth, Liam, the securities and Rosa came rushing.
Seth went to her trying to steady her before she falls,
"Gina? What is it?", He asked reading the shock on her face.
Liam picked up the phone and showed Seth,
"Marc..My Marcel?", Gina said as if she's trying to understand the situation, then her head ached so much and she heard a loud sharp sound, it felt like her screws were loosing.
"Seth, my Marcel, Marcel!", She said touching her chest, her voice sounding more crooked and this-is-not-happening.
She slid off Seth's hand and went around looking for Marcel,
"He was just right here!", She said and Liam went out with the man who looks like the dang security head.

There were men all over the place, with and without badges, they were in circle. She felt someone held her hand and knew it would be Rosa but she didn't raise her eyes to be sure. She just held her head and tapping her feet tirelessly on the floor.

Marcel was kidnapped
Oh Jesus please

She thought in her head, whether this is real or just a dream. She stood up,
"Gina", Rosa called softly and the men turned, Gina walked to them, she saw Seth walking around towards her and walked round the table, avoiding him,
"Where's my son?", She asked the huge man,
"Ma'am, we're on it. We're trying to trace the roads they must have taken. So, sit down, relax while we do our job", one of the men with almost yellow mustache and a bulging belly said while the huge man stared at her respectfully,
Gina laughed and turned to him,
"Sit down?", She said and scoffed, "relax?! Are you fxcking kidding me! Am fxcking loosing my nuts! Someone is trying to put a bullet in my son's head and you are fxcking telling me to fxcking sit down!!!", Gina screamed, her nuts are loose. Some people were holding her but she don't know why and it's annoying, she just needs to see Marcel.
Why would someone threaten her with her own son?!
She thought and collapsed on the floor with her hands on her weak eyes, crying.
Seth hugged her,
"We'll find him", he said to her and she looked at him,
"Seth, please do something...he..he can't..", she wanted to say that Marcel don't like strangers and then remembered Joe and it clicked, she haven't seen him for awhile now,
"Gina?", Seth called looking at her puzzled faced,
"Seth?",
"Yes, am here",
"Where's Joe?", She asked looking him straight in the face, begging him to tell her he's just over there by the corner.
"He..uhmm..we guessed he took both of them", he said rubbing his head.
"Sir, can you come with us?", They heard and Seth signalled Rosa to help Gina to the room,
"I'll be back, we'll find them, I promise", he said and followed the detective outside.
