It's become more of a chore now. Taking care  of the homeless man that hides in the alley, two houses away from us, but my neither of my parents knew.

The name of the homeless man was John.

John could tell good stories but not as good as Mary. He would talk about how he would sail the seven seas sneezing every now and then in-between each sentence, but I had to stay out of the alley way, the smell of rotten vegetables with milk wasn't something I could stand.

John wasn't getting any better. The rashes were now all over his body purple and red. Every day  as I went to the bakery I would give him bread an cheese, bread and beans or leftover dinner.  Oh, how bad I felt for him.

The cold he had was something else, but as I pray to God, I know he will heal.

"To market, to market to buy cake. Home again home again" the children sang as I watched them sing running around in circles while sitting  the  fountains edge. A smile grew on my face,  but faded as I felt some one touch my hair. My head snapped to the direction of the mysterious touch.

Sam.

I haven't seen since the day I almost lost my life.

He gave me his signature grin, making my my tummy turn. His silver orbs made my heart melt. How could someone have such beautiful eyes.

Snapping out of my trance only to notice Sam has been giving me a weird look. Maybe I was staring to long. My cheeks were a garden of roses, then I remembered i was supposed to be mad at him.

I turn my head back to its normal position.

"Come on your still mad about what happened last time?" " It's really not that deep" he said.

Yes it is.

"What do you want?"I asked. He gave me a sigh " I'm just used to you following me around flying around me like a bee as if I'm  honey "  "So you can say I miss ....... you .... kind of."

"What is the is the supposed to mean? "  he gave me a knowing smirk. "I know you like me, your like the others, if  I asked you to open your legs you or any other girl  you would do it."  "Your like every girl you can't live with out a dick in you ass." He said almost laughing.

My face turned red to anger. Who the hell does he think he is.

Before I could realize what I was doing my hand went full speed  on smacking his face. Sam put his hand on his face still in shock not noticing my leg smashing into his lower half for the final blow.

He screamed in pain.

Everyone in the town square was now starting at us. Before he could say anything I was already running away. The whispers of the crowd was starting to rise.

I went home sad, disrespected, and embarrassed.

**( pls no hate to the book I don't believe  in that kind of thing. I am female my self and would never want someone to say that to me or anybody) **

I had woken up with a sore throat , nose block and from loud shouting from the streets. It was pure midnight what was possibly going on at this hour of time ?  I was still dizzy as I had just woken up.

"OH JESUS, OH MY GOD JAKE, DO SEE THAT ITS A DEAD BODY. OH MY GOD IT'S A DEAD BODY" a female voice shouted, but her voice wasn't the only thing that could be heard but other peoples voices shouting.

I got up from my bed as fast as I could to see what was going on through my window.

There was a crowd, crowding or piling over a man in his 40's. The man that Icame out from my sight of vision was John.

John....

I stopped breathing.

I felt my throat get worse.

A wagon had pulled next to John's dead body. Picking him up and throwing him in the wagon like he was some piece of trash. The wagon was starting to fade away from my line of vision as it was through the night.

A heavy tear had fallen from my eye landing on my rist making me look down at my hand.

And there it was...

The same rash John had on his arm I first met him. It was every where on my hand.

Then a horrifying thought crossed my mind.
