Sorry for late update*
I had ran as fast as I could way back home, before I could make a right turn for the next street filled with tone-deaf shouting from sellers and buyers someone had grabbed my basket and spun me around.
I clenched my fists ready to meet who ever had touched me, only to realize Even Smith was the culprit. My stomach started dancing feeling knots all over my stomach.
"Is Layla really doing errands, you sure you're not sick?" Why did every one think I was sick. I made out my most every like lady voice trying to sound nice like my mother had thought me when talking to men.

Last year Even had put bird poop in my boots when I was taking a little dip in the fountains water form the summer heat. And when I put my feet in my boots I swear I was just as loud as my mother. That day I went home in disgrace.
"Please, kindly give me back my basket and thank you."
He just looked at me unsatisfied with my comment. "That's really all you have to say like I thought you would throw my shoe on top of my roof the last time" he said.
That was my revenge for spoiling my boot and my day that day. What can I say you lose some you get some.
"Your still not over that?" I ask. "And you call your self a man, now pls give me my basket" I was running out of patience. I had had to figure out if Emily was ok.
"Even there's a rat on your shoe" I said. I didn't know if was true or not because I didn't look at his shoe to confirm it , but what I do know is that I threw a dead mouse out the window this morning into the market.
As he looked down to check his shoe, I took the chance to snatch my basket out of his hands.
You could see the shock on his face, I Layla had tricked him, and It made me giggle a bit
But that wasn't my concern right now It was Emily.
'Please be ok,' I thought.
'Emily be ok.'
'Emily', I thought to my self as my salty tear rolled down my cheek.
*I lost hope in the book but got back to writing.
Sorry for the long wait. This might be my shortest chapter. I also changed the cover*
