no touching

i never stripped until i was older and even then, i was modest about what i decided to show. if my top ended up on the floor in an untidy pile, my hand replaced it for the rest of the dance. but surprisingly, they liked it. to them it seemed more like a tease then it did a strip, and from there, my name soon became a popular phrase on many people's tongue as men requested more private dances from me as time went on.

that didn't mean special treatment however. it just meant more time for them to call me whatever name they let slip out of their soiled mouths any chance they got. its gotten to the point where the most common slurs didn't make me bite my tongue at the vulgarity of it and the rare gems became almost music to my ears as a funny form of motivation.

the business itself had rules in place for both the dancers and the audience members who took part in this 'work' though; such as no touching the dancers without consent, having relationships with any of your customers were not permitted, and sexual activities or services were not allowed, to be offered, or to be accepted. so if you decided to have a secret workplace affair, no more income for you and in most cases, you're never seen at the business again.

sadly, i've been at this long enough to see the truth in that.
