AN: Don't hate on Mew that much na?

POV Mew

A few days ago…

Mew hadn’t been able to sleep for at least two days.

He had been worried about his boyfriend, who he hadn’t been able to see, thanks to the reporters surrounding his house. It had been so frustrating not being able to be beside Gulf while everything was going to shit.

And that had been only the beginning.

The series was still airing, so all the issue with Gulf and HIM was giving problems to the production. They still had a lot of promoting and events to do for the series and they had had to cancel a bunch of them because of what was going on. All that had put pressure on his boyfriend as well, as it broke his heart to cause any problems to MAME, the actors, or TharnType’s production team.

TharnType was supposed to be Mew’s come back, and the jump to success for Gulf.

Instead, it all had been a mess since the first episode.

Thank god at least their fans actually supported and liked the series up until episode three.

Mew had been losing his mind over the fact that people had reached conclusions so fast. Gulf was the most precious, sweet person Mew had ever met. He wouldn’t be able to hurt a fly. Yet, perspectives can be tricky sometimes. The picture was taken in a moment that had made Gulf look bad. But, that’s how the media worked. They gave you a half-told story that made your imagination run wild, with poorly prepared proofs. It was programmed in people’s minds to think the worst about someone when this type of article came to life.

Mew had called his boyfriend religiously every day, and hearing his sad and hollow voice had made him want to bawl. He knew his lover had been doing his best to not let him know he had been crying.

Gulf didn’t deserve that at all. Bester had told him they would stay silent for the moment, as a declaration might be counterproductive. But that didn’t mean haters would stay silent as well.

Every call had broken Mew’s heart more and more. Gulf had had to comfort him at some point, and that had only made him feel worse.

Gulf is the one suffering and here I am being weak.

Mew had tried to find a way to fix the problem by himself. He and Bosser had tried to contact HIM, to maybe ask HIM to do a statement or something, even though Mew knew it would be in vain.

“HIS manager won’t pick up the phone, Mew” Bosser had told him.

- Why? Did he vanish or something? He must be somewhere! – Mew had been getting frantic at that point.

“I know, but I can’t find HIM”

- I asked the guard at the condo’s entrance, he said HE got inside with some other guy.

“Can’t you watch the security cameras?”

- I did, but the guy was wearing a cap and never looked up. I couldn’t see his face.

“So… It was all a set-up” Boss had said, mad.

Mew had sighed before talking.

- I think so P’Boss. I never thought HE would get to this point just to get back at me.

“People like that exist in this world, Mew”

Mew had swallowed before talking:

- But if HE had any problems with me, then he should have taken it on me – Mew had sniffled, trying to hold the tears in – Not Gulf.
