Younghyun scowled as soon as he saw the familiar figure. He ignores the pump of his heart at hearing the laugh that he knew he will always find endearing. And then the time he was dreading came — the man turned around when his friend pointed to him. And he saw those smiling, sparkling eyes again. And he fell all over again.

Sungjin grinned, "Kang."

Younghyun blinked. Jaehyung nudged him when he got back from his locker and frowned when he didn't answer. Jaehyung looked toward Sungjin.

"Brian? You okay?" Jaehyung asked.

"Who's that? Your new man?" Sungjin teased.

Younghyun closed his hands into a fist. Sungjin stepped closer after chuckling with his friend.

"What? Is he better? Than me?" Sungjin questioned further.

Jaebeom saw pain cross Younghyun's eyes, and he put a hand on his friend's shoulder, "Hyung, I thought you're over it?"

Sungjin ignored him and raised a brow at Younghyun, "What? Are you satisfied? Or are you going to go back to me?"

Younghyun kept quiet.

"Like what you always — "

"Hyung, let's go," Jaebeom cut him off.

Sungjin shrugged him off, but Jaebeom grabbed his shoulder again.

"Shut up, Park," Younghyun hissed.

"Bri?" Jaehyung confusedly called.

"I'm always the quiet one, Kang. You know that — "

Younghyun turned around and left. Sungjin chuckled, and Younghyun's heart broke. Jaebeom hit Sungjin on his head.

"You're a bastard. I don't know why you're still my friend," he said.

Sungjin erased his smirk and frowned, sighing.

"Get over it, hyung. A little more and I'll really leave you," Jaebeom warned. "Although I know that you don't do that to others, you're hurting someone."

"As if I'm not hurt — "

"Why don't you just talk to him, seriously? Instead of trash talking him, it's obvious you hate it too," Jaebeom inquired as they walked out of their campus.

"No. I prefer it this way instead of...," Sungjin trailed.

"Instead of what? Instead of hurting him? Hyung, really, are you a psychology student? This is bullshit. If this carries on until our third year, I'll really leave you. I'm not going to support you in that," Jaebeom ranted.

"I know," Sungjin mumbled before chuckling. "As if I'll stay here until the third year."

"So, what, you're the one who'll leave me? Why are you turning the tables?" Jaebeom nudged him with his body.

"Jaebeom, we've been like this for two months already. You already said it, I don't like what I'm doing. But I don't want to be in his life anymore. I want him to forget me as the man who hurt him. As the man he'll compare other people to, to know if he'll continue their relationship or not," Sungjin explained.
