Hellfire.

As we entered the school, Eddie gently slipped his hand into mine and squeezed it. He could probably see the nerves on my face: walking into a room of people you didn't know was always going to be terrifying no matter how many times you'd done it.

We walked into the cafeteria turning quite a few heads as we walked in hand in hand, me wearing his shirt. Mike and Dustin turned to look at us as we settled next to each other across the table from them. "You too?" Mike asked incredulously. "Seriously?"

"You guys!" Dustin gasped. Eddie rolled his eyes at both of them.
"What, Henderson?" Eddie sneered.
"Nothing." Dustin shrugged, casting a knowing glance at Mike. The bell rang for next period, and Eddie walked me to my next class, waving goodbye as he vanished around the corner out of view. I could feel myself starting to like him, which concerned me. He didn't come across as being all that trustworthy.

My last classes seemed to drag for days and days, but finally the bell rang to signal the end of the day. I rushed to the library, where hellfire was usually held, trying to see Dustin, Mike, Eddie or anyone else wearing a Hellfire Shirt. "Hey, darling." I heard from behind me. I turned around to see Eddie standing behind me.
"Don't call me that." I said, faking irritation. He saw right through me and we both knew it.
"I've missed you." He said, pouting.
"Its been three hours, Eddie." I whispered back. Secretly, I'd missed him too.

A guy in a hellfire shirt approached, shook hands with Eddie then turned to look at me. "We have no spare seats. Sorry, sweetheart." He said, patronizingly. Eddie growled, low and deep, and put his hand on my arm. "This is y/n. She's with me. So back off." He shot me a dirty look and flounced off to talk to Mike, Dustin and a younger looking girl with braids in her hair who I realized must be Erica, Lucas's younger sister. Eddie slipped his hand into mine and led me to the table. He sat down in his chair at the head of the table, pulling up a chair right next to his, casting death stares at anyone who argued.

I was mostly just watching as it was my first time playing, but I still enjoyed seeing their faces light up at certain moments, the tension in the room enough to suffocate someone. When it was over, we said our goodbyes to the rest of the group and Eddie began walking me to the front of the school.

"So, Y/N, what's your favorite movie?" He asked, his arm behind my back and his left hand in my right back pocket, steering me in the right direction.
"I love the Goonies." I said automatically. It was my go- to movie night choice.
"I love it." Eddie said, laughter in his tone.
"You do? You've seen it?" I asked excitedly.
"Not exactly... but I'm sure I would. You seem like you would have good movie choice." He grinned like a maniac, making me laugh. "Wanna come back to mine and watch it?"
"Let me call my mom, I'll see what I can do." I said, walking towards the payphone outside of school, fishing my loose change out of my pocket. The idea of watching a movie at Eddie's house made my stomach flutter.

"Hey, Mom. Any chance I could stay at my friend's house tonight? I made a friend at Hellfire."
"Sure, honey. What's her name?"
"He's a boy." I said, praying my mom wouldn't freak out.
"IOkay, but be home by ten."
"I will, I promise."
"I'm glad you're making friends, have fun."

"Its all clear, I can stay." I said, grinning from ear to ear.
"YES!!" Eddie yelled, picking me up and swinging me around. We set off for the video store, hand in hand, swinging each others arms as high as possible like little kids. We reached the video store and I smiled when I saw one of my new friends, Robin, was behind the counter. "Hey Y/N. Eddie." She said, smiling at us both. "What brings you in here?"
"We wanna rent The Goonies please." Eddie said.
"Sure." Robin said, winking. I still hadn't gotten over how beautiful Robin was. She handed me the video and we left the store, I was trying to hide my excitement.

We got back to Eddie's trailer and I sat down on the sofa while he sorted the movie out. He sat down next to me and put his arm around my shoulder. I rested my head lightly on his shoulder, not daring to breathe. He was playing with my hair, twirling strands of it around his shoulders. "I think I'm going to like this movie, Y/N."
