Aꜰᴛᴇʀ ʟᴀsᴛ ɴɪɢʜᴛs...ᴇᴠᴇɴᴛs

It was safe to say Mia was in a rather vulnerable moment with her mother, one that Angie felt happy too have with one of her dearest daughters. To tell you the truth, Angie's girls were her everything. She may have moments were she struggles to show that love, but if you look closely you can see it's there.

When the unexpected pregnancy arrived, to the unexpected father. Angie felt her life crumble, and when she found out that she was having twins. She struggled through serious problems, problems that she only expressed to a little girl that would listen, the little girl being the little Mia. After talking to a six year old about her problems, Angie felt free. That only lasted for so long.

So long before she began to drink, it wasn't hard to saw her two daughters side by side at a young age, before knowing who she needed to give the talk to. After the twins turned fourteen that's when the discussion became handy for the young Mia.

Tʜʀᴇᴇ Yᴇᴀʀs Aɢᴏ......

"And mom, it was magical."

The young girl had a dreamy smile flowing on her lips, Angie nodded in relief. "It was a perfect first kiss." The girl stated, replaying the moment over and over in her mind.

She had gone on a date with a boy from school, one of Bricks friends, he set the two up. Thinking about how the girl needed more experience in her life, on the movie date they shared a 'magical' kiss. Under the flowing stars that to this day, Mia dreams about.

"But, I thought you already had your first kiss....with Brick."

Mia shook her head quickly, denying the rumor. "Mom, that kiss wasn't real." The girl chuckled, to which Angie furrowed her brows. "It was a kiss." Mia nodded in agreement, giving into the older woman was too easy.

"But this one is different, I'm not a silly little girl anymore. I can get pregnant now, it's time I put my priorities in line."

And on that day, Angie no longer worried about Mia. She knew that this girl would make smart decisions, and hopefully wear protection. Hopefully.

Pʀᴇsᴇɴᴛ....

And that little girl would never imagine she'd be texting a boy like Christian, with a smile this large on her lips. Her taste had always been a blonde boy best friend vibe, but that story she would never tell. Not even to Angie, to which she told everything too. And she always imaged the woman did the same thing.

And after last night, the two's relationship grew stronger. There bond, still breakable, but stronger.

"So this guy, Christian, is it? Wants to meet up tonight?"

Mia nodded, looking down at the well on-going conversation they were sharing over text. "Is he cute?" The older woman asked, to which Mia shook her head teasingly, setting down the phone. "Dreamy, he has these icy blue eyes that you could get sucked into for years...." The words flew out like a memorized monologue, but they stopped as a frown took over the girls face.

"I feel a but coming."

Angie knew her daughter far too well, and she knew that confused face too well. "...but, when I'm with him, I get this feeling-"

"-between your legs?"

Mia glared at her mother, before going back to her thoughts digging deeper into the issue. "It's stupid, I'm probably just overthinking, he's a nice guy. He's a pastors son! He wouldn't hurt a fly, let alone me." She told herself what seemed to be the truth, but only felt like a lie.
