It scares me

Is it Heaven?

Is it reincarnation?

Is it darkness?

Is it Oblivion?

Is it....... Nothing?.......

I don't know what comes after. I don't want to know, but I know it'll come eventually. All things come to pass one way or another eventually, and I hate that I expect it.

It could happen any second, and I wouldn't mind it, but..... what next? It bears too much weight to simply say, "that's the END". one never really pays attention to how much weight the word carries. END/termination/finish/conclusion/limit, it comes in more and more names, one more scary than the last.

what if it is just nothing waiting for us all?

what if Heaven is just a thought we made to ease the pain of our impending END? What if Reincarnation is just a way to assure our trembling hearts and minds to ease the fear of the possibility that we could simply be floating in a space of nothingness

As we continue to not continue what will happen to us? Is there even a continuation? Will we simply float in the nothingness we are? will it be peaceful? will it be a release?

I wonder how people have the nerve to dare to take their own LIVES, let alone how one take the life of others. as long as you have your LIFE, you have all the opportunities and the time to make it better, so why? what can be worse than an uncertainty?

I do choose to believe that there is something after this LIFE. It gives me hope and motivation.

It gives me hope that there's still gonna be a way to be here while I'm gone, a way for the ones I've left behind to feel secure. A hope that we all have a place to go to and that there's a place where I can feel true peace.

It motivates me to do the right thing (as selfish as it may seem, but honestly every humble or selfless act could be the complete opposite simply because we think it'll come round to us and be for our benefit. pretty capitalist if u ask me, but I have met truly kind and selfless people. We need more of em, we should appreciate em 1000%. Always). It motivates me to keep going, to live a LONG and EVENTFUL life, to one day find rest.

We may all have our own suspicions beliefs or theories, but what we really need to know is the weight of Death and the greatness and bountifulness of Life.
