Some more information about the book, there is violence, there's mature content (alcohol, violence and sexual content, death) and if anything big happens I'll (hopefully) remember a trigger warning.
I'll be completely honest and upfront, Anakin does choke and hurt our FMC in the beginning of the book. There are two instances when he does, and that is it! He never hurts her (purposely) again after those two interactions.
I also want to mention that this book does not include the unexpected pregnancy trope! So if you don't enjoy that, you're in a good place. But that doesn't mean there's no drama...
