Sersi's pov

"No! No! Put the fire out!" I yelled, frantically pushing myself back from the table just in time for Noa to douse the table with water.

"We really need to invest in a fire extinguisher." She mumbled, making me want to laugh.

It's been like this for over a week. We have been working on new legs, and using the wires to create the nerve receptors has proven to be.. Challenging. Doing it with Anakin was so simple, but now it feels damn near impossible.

"Must be the materials we're using. They must be highly flammable and we just didn't realize." I shrugged, throwing out the leg. Again.

"We should really start reading the fine print on things."

I laughed at her remark, washing my hands at the sink when all of a sudden a loud alarm was going off, and a red light flashing.

"What is that?" I questioned.

"We've got a lot of injured clones coming back. Must have attacked a Rebel base recently. Let's go, they'll need all the help they can get." Noa sighed, leading us both out to the med bay just as a swarm of clones emerged.

"Ah. Just like I remember." I sighed, putting on a fresh pair of gloves along with some covers for my clothes before rushing to help. There was so much blood, so many screams of pain and tears.

"Get me an oxygen mask now." I muttered when I approached two nurses who looked like they had no idea what they were doing. They stumbled, rushing to get the mask on his poor souls face. "Don't worry, proper help has arrived." I muttered down to him, watching him smile and chuckle a bit. I injected an IV for him filled with the fluids he would need to rehydrate.

"Okay Sir, tell me what hurts and where?" I asked as I used my stethoscope to listen to his lungs and heart, immediately I could hear more fluid in his lungs than he needed.

"My abdomen.. Blaster shot." He groaned, and I took off his remaining armour to see that he had a bleeding wound. Luckily, it wasn't anything too serious and could be fixed easily.

"Oh this is nothing. Get him on antibiotics, he's got pneumonia. Can I trust you can clean and stitch this up without supervision?" I asked the dud nurse.

I don't like being rude to the nurses, I completely understand how helpful they are and how much work they put in. But these two have been on my nerves every day this week, with questions they should already know the answers too and never doing their job properly.

"Yes Dr. Gray, of course." The one said, I nodded, taking my gloves off and finding a new pair. I stitched up a few cuts the clones had, applying Bacta cream and injecting so many drugs I don't even know how we still have a healthy supply of things.

The sound of violent screaming took all of my attention and made me run over to the culprit.

"Hey, hey don't move!" I yelled, forcing them to sit down, seeing that there is a metal rod piercing  through their right thigh. Instantly making me panic about the Femoral Artery.

"Pull the damn thing out! It hurts!" The clone screamed, and I took this time to look at his face, instantly recognizing him. He seemed to have recognized me too, "Sersi! Oh how glad I am to see you!" Rex cheered, seeming to be relieved. "I thought you were dead." He laughed through his pain.

"Yeah. I thought you were too. Now will you shut up at stay still?"

"I would have a better chance if you'd get this thing out!" He became annoyed, moving his leg ever so slightly again, causing another scream of pain.
