Sersi's pov
"Eric don't touch that!" I yelled, but of course, he touched it.
Now my lab is on fire.
"Put it out, put it out!" I yelled as Noa yet again threw water on my beautiful creation. It was so close to being finished too.
"I'm sorry." Eric said, holding his hands up in surrender.
"You need to put your listening ears on." I rolled my eyes, throwing it in the garbage.
"I just wanted to feel it, it looked so real!"
"That was the point!" I grumbled.
"I'm sorry, did I set you back?" He asked apologetically.
I sighed, "No, it's just a side project anyways."
"Hey Eric, I love having you around, tip top guy and all, but I think it's time you give us some space to do our work." Noa placed her arm around his shoulder, leading him towards the door of the lab.
Thank the maker he's leaving.
With him gone I can finally work. Or at least that's what I thought I could do, until yet again the red lights and alarms started going off.
"Ugh, can never catch a break." I groaned.
This is the fourth time the last week and a half that we have been swamped with war survivors. So many clones are being torn apart, I wonder if the Rebels got new weapons. I rushed out of the room, pulling my hair into a ponytail before grabbing some gloves. There was so much blood, so much destruction around. How is anyone even alive?
"Gray! You used to be a field medic right?" Dr. Ren asked.
"Yes."
"Good, we need you to take a team down to the camp on Kashyyyk, there's a Rebel base there that we've attacked and they need medical attention there. We're swamped here."
I nodded, instantly getting my team together. I will be bringing Noa with me, along with a few other doctors. We had to get changed into field gear, which was a white suit with built in body armour.
(imagine Yelena's suit in black widow at the end)
We grabbed our bags full of supplies, rushing to the transport that had a few clone's in it. It wasn't a big transport ship, but big enough for the five doctors and three clone troopers.
"I'm not the biggest on flying." Noa said nervously as we entered the atmosphere, causing the ship to shake violently. I reached my hand over and held onto hers, "It's okay, we're threw." I nodded reassuringly.
She took deep breathes, her leg shaking. Her nervousness was intoxicating to me and I almost mistake her nerves for mine.We were getting closer to the ground below us, and I thanked the maker for it- I haven't touched soil in over a month, haven't breathed fresh air either. This is exciting, despite the fact that I'm here because peoples lives are at stake. I felt a tug at my temple, pulling me to look towards my left, outside of the ship. And when I did, to my absolute horror, I knew something very bad was about to happen.
"Look out!"
~
Pain.I felt a lot of pain.
My eyes refused to open, there was a heavy weight on my body restricting me from even moving.
Open your eyes Sersi.
When my eyes opened, I was met with a familiar smoke, a familiar sound of blaster shots and echoing sounds of agonizing screams. I had to move. I had to get up. My eyes moved downward to see what was restricting my movement, and I was met with Noa, who was not awake.
