Robins shoes are important in this chapter. Look at em if you haven't !

Nancy impatiently waited by her front door, waiting for the knock. She was afraid Robin would be late, thatd make her parents think badly of her. She wanted her parents to like Robin, so maybe in the future theyd understand why she fell in love with her.

Robin knocked on the door, she had managed to make it on time. Nancy opened it and smiled. "Hey! I thought youd be late, I was getting nervous." She said through her teeth as she pulled Robin inside.

"What? Me?? Late?? And to somerhing important?? Never!... I was nervous too, youd kill me if I was late" Robin dramatically gestured as she spoke. Nancy just wrapped a hand around Robins forearm and pulled her into the dining room. "This is Holly, my sister.. And you know Mike" Nancy said as she pulled a chair out for Robin.

"Yeah.. Hi, Mike. 'N hi Holly, I'm Robin" Robin sat down and smiled at the child across from her. "I know. She talks about you.. A lot!" Holly said, pointing at Nancy. Nancy puffed her cheeks out while letting out a sigh. "I'm.. gonna go help bring dinner in. Holly go get dad for me, yeah?"

The two left the room, leaving Mike and Robin alone. Mike was messing with his fork, spinning it between his fingers. Or trying. He was terrible. Robin picked up her own fork and held her hand up. "Try to do it like this" she spun the fork slowly between her fingers, then slowly got faster. Mike did what she did and smiled. "Cool!" Then his fork flew out of his hand. He bent down to pick it up, he stayed under the table for a moment, spotting Robins shoes.

"...Your shoes-" Mike said as he sat up. "Is that like, supposed to be a personal attack?" He was genuinely confused. Robin looked at her own shoe, reading ' Wont go down in history but I will go down on your sister '

She snorted.

"Uhm. Uh.. What??- Why would you think that??" 

Mike raised his eyebrows. 

"..Yeah." She sighed.
