I was looking at myself in the mirror as I was going down the elevator. In fact, there was a deep silence and I was nervous about having breakfast with Charles in front of everyone. He had a girlfriend, after all, and people would get lost in thought when they saw him with someone else. I would never want to be in such a situation. But I also wanted to enjoy the moment and have a good time. When we got down to the lobby, he smiled and pointed to the hotel door. Outside, the valet was waiting for him. When we got in the car, he turned on the radio directly. "I hope it will be a pleasant journey for you" he said and continued to drive. The fact that he remembered that I was traveling in the car listening to music made me shiver. After driving for a while, we came to the place where we will have breakfast. People were waiting for him outside as he got out of the car. They were screaming his name and waiting for autograph and photo. Never in my life have I been so tense. I was sure that I was among the photos taken. I wanted to run away from there but since it would attract more attention. I entered the place by staying as calm as possible. Charles came in behind me. I was sure my face was pale. My ears were red from the tension. "Are you okay?" Charles said worriedly. I nodded to him. I needed a big glass of water to digest what I had just experienced. After giving our orders, I asked permission to go to the bathroom and got up. Charles was looking at me with concern. I was washing my face in the sink and trying to convince myself that what had just happened was nothing. I was making promises to myself that no one would know who I was and that I wouldn't ruin people's lives. I hadn't told anyone but myself yet that I liked Charles. For a long time, I was determined to keep this secret to myself. Delilah probably understands but she didn't ask me anything. I didn't want to be in the image of stealing a man in a relationship. If something was going to happen, it had to go naturally and without my influence. It wouldn't be right to try to make something happen that wouldn't happen otherwise. After feeling good, I went back to the table. Charles was still looking at me with the same worried expression. "You don't look well, is there something wrong?" he said. His voice sounded very worried. "No, I'm fine. I guess travel and hunger made it a bit like that. Let's have something to eat" I said and looked at him with a forced smile. I told myself a big bowl of porridge. It was something I usually didn't want to eat anything but preferred when I had to. "What will you do today?" I broke the silence this time. He looked at me smiling. "Today is Thursday, media events will begin in 2 hours. Today will be like this in general and we'll end the day with a track walk." he said. As soon as he said media day, the previous event came to my mind. Did they even ask about it? Delilah usually knew better about these things. That would be the first thing I would ask her when I got to the hotel. "You can come and tour the paddock if you want" he said suddenly. I looked at him in surprise. "Do they allow us to enter the paddock on Thursdays?" I said. He suddenly chuckled. I looked at him and smiled. "Did I say something stupid?" I said, my voice a little embarrassed. "Oh no! Of course you can come. You can spend the whole weekend however you want." I nodded, showing that I understood. After chatting for a while, we got in the car to return to the hotel, luckily there weren't too many people outside this time. After arriving at the hotel, I said goodbye and went to the room.

Delilah was awake, playing with her phone. "Wow, who do I see" she said sarcastically. I rolled my eyes and threw my bag on the bed. "Delilah, you won't believe what happened" I said in a tired tone. She looked up at me worriedly. "We went to a place to have breakfast and people were waiting for him there. Everyone was taking pictures and videos" I said. Delilah was looking at me confused. "So?" she said flatly. "So Delilah, people will put this on social media and it will be discussed who I am. And he has a girlfriend. So it's bad enough" I said to she. Delilah was looking at me with a laugh. "Don't you think Charles would have been worried if there was anything to worry about?" she said and shrugged. Considering what Delilah had said, it made a lot of sense. People can have breakfast with their friends, that's very natural, I thought. "And one thing, it's media day, will they ask something about it?" I said. Delilah rolled her eyes and looked at me. "Of course not, Irene, it's not that kind of media day" she said. I nodded and went to bed. After a while, messages started pouring into my phone. When I looked at the notifications, most of them were like this. -Irene? Are you there? I can't believe who is that boy? Where are you Irene? Are you with that handsome guy? - I was jumping out of bed trying to figure out what was going on. When I went to social media, I saw that there were photos taken in the morning with Charles. Many people commented on who this girl was under. "Delilahh!!! Come here quickly!" I shouted. Delilah came to me in a panic. "What's happening?" she said worriedly. I turned the phone towards her and showed her the photos. "Aaah dammit, what I was afraid of happened to me." I said. What would I do now? Everyone would talk about how bad of a person I was. It wasn't long before I had an anxiety attack. Delilah was doing something to calm me down, but it didn't relieve my nervousness. "Will you calm down, Irene? There's nothing wrong with that, two friends, you just ate something." she said. The more she spoke, the more I shivered. When I thought about the situation I had put myself in, I was getting on my nerves. "There is nothing you can change right now. If it was something to worry about, Charles wouldn't have gone in public with you anyway" she said. I wanted very much to give her justice, on the other hand, I was getting nervous when I saw the photos. That's when I got a text from Charles on my phone.

C: Irene, I'm so sorry I hope you're not in trouble.

I was a little surprised when I saw the message. Being in trouble? I was surprised that Charles thought I would be in trouble, when I thought I had put him in trouble all morning. Why would I be in trouble?

I: No, I'm sorry. I hope I didn't put you in a difficult situation. Your girlfriend will get it wrong.

C: I was not in a difficult situation. We'll talk about that later.

Can we talk about that later? Can someone explain to me what exactly it is? After I showed Delilah the messages, she too gave me a confused look. "They didn't break up" she simply said, after fiddling with her phone without saying anything. "What does that mean?" I said. Delilah took her seat to explain. "There could only be one reason why Charles didn't care and that was because they broke up but there are still pictures on social media so you'll have to wait for him to explain it" she said. How could he be such a thoughtful person? "Get ready, it's paddock day" she said, and headed towards the bathroom."Yes, it's a paddock day" I repeated, and fell back into bed.
