We flew back to the hidden house. I stopped resisting, knowing I wasn't gonna win. No one could save me, or my friends, or family. It's too late.

"This'll be quick, girlie," The Voice said "I'll try to make it as less painful."

It cackled loudly.

I didn't say anything. All I could think about was my friends. My dad. Mom. My head was numb. It was spinning. I was breathing heavily. The sunlight hurt my eyes, but felt better once we were inside. The Voice dragged me to the entrance of the secret room, and forced me in.

Once I was in, the voice pushed me towards the chair.

I fell on it,  with a thump.

"You're weak," it sneered "you aren't even trying to resist."

"Would you let me go if I did?" I murmured.

"Eh?" it said, not able to hear me.

"I said, WOULD YOU LET ME GO IF I DID?!" I screamed "You're gonna slice me up, and do the same to everyone! You just wanna see me struggle, and I'm NOT giving you that satifaction!"

The Thing cackled. "Probably not." It said.

Next moment, I was being tied to the chair again by ropes.

The Voice picked up the sword that I used to slash open the locket.

"Forgot to take this, did you?" it taunted.

There has to be some way, I suddenly thought, I can't just let this world go so easily.

I darted my eyes across the room to look for anything that may be usable. A chair, a table on which was kept that enchantment book, jars full of herbs I don't think I've ever seen,  and that jar full of bright light...

*Nathan's POV*

"We've gotta find her!" Lucy said.

"They could be anywhere!" Oliver said, looking outside the broken window frantically.

"No," i said, and they both looked at me "I know where they are."

I started running towards the exit of the castle, and the others followed me, trying to keep up.

"Where are we going?" Lucy yelled.

"The hidden house!" I said "It's the place where The Voice planned to kill her, it's gotta be where they are now."

"What's the guarantee they're there?" Oliver asked.

"There is no guarantee," I said, panting "but it's the only shot we've got."

*Alexa's POV*

"It's time," the voice cackled "I've been planning this for months! All this work would've paid off... let's do this old style, shall we?"

The Voice put it's hands around my neck, choking me.

I struggled, trying to grasp any bit of air I can get. But the thing's grip was way too strong. I couldn't breathe. Every single gasp for air was painful. I thrashed around, trying to kick it but ti couldn't be kicked. But didn't  Erik and Mom pin that thing to the ground when they were kids? But she was using Ansley's body for that. Right now, it's in its true form.
