Steve harrington was the king of Hawkins. Dustin just wanted him to feel like it, but that feeling went away after Eddie died, After he sacrificed himself to save Dustin and even after all of that, Dustin still made sure to call him, 'king Steve.' Steve knew be didn't deserve the role but whatever made Dustin happy, made him happy.
"Hellooooo? Earth To Steve!" Robin snapped in his face, "your babysitting job needs to start."
Steve chuckles, "Yeah sorry."
Robin sighs, "Look, I know it's been hard for you ever since Eddie died but, you'll find someone like him."
Wilson looked at Robin, "who's Eddie?"
Dustin yells from the Horror section, making the three turn their heads to Dustin, "Eddie was our friend, died saving me around two weeks ago!"
Wilson looks back at Robin, "and I'm guessing your Robin?"
Robin nods, "that's me, you are?"
"Wilson, Wilson kane." Wilson smiles.
"Dustin, hurry up!" Steve groans.
"I'm coming, jeez Steve." Dustin walks to Steve, Robin, and Wilson, carrying a collection of Friday the 13th movies.
The front door dings as Nancy, Will, El, and Mike walk through it.
Robin waves, "hey Nancy!"
Nancy waves, "hi Robin!" She turns to the three, "I'm going to go talk with Steve, go look for a movie."
Dustin puts the movies up on the counter. As Robin checks the movies out, Dustin starts a conversation with Wilson. Letting Nancy and Steve chat.
"I was thinking, what if we crash at your place and watch a movie." Nancy smiles.
Steve rubs the back of his neck, "i would love to Nancy, but I have to get Dustin's friend, Wilson, home by-" Steve turns to Wilson, "hey, Wilson." Wilson turned to Steve, "what time do you have to be home?"
Wilson paused, "around 5 I think."
"Thank you." Steve smiled and turned his head back to Nancy.
"So you have to get the kid home in 20 minutes?" Nancy questioned.
Steve looked at the time, checking his wrist, where a watch was, "OH SHIT!" Steve turned to Wilson, "hey I've got to get you home." Steve turned back to Nancy as Wilson said his goodbyes to Robin and Dustin, "meet at my place?"
"Yeah, I'll bring Dustin with me." Nancy nodded.
"Thank you so much." Steve smiled and turned to Wilson, "Alright time to go."
As Steve lead Wilson to his car. Will goes over to Dustin as Nancy and Robin talk. Robin leads Nancy to the action area as Mike, and El heads over to Dustin and Will.
"Who was that?" Will asked.
Dustin explained, "A old friend. From 6 years ago."
"He seemed.." El questioned herself.
Mike crossed his arms, "odd. I don't trust him."
"Wow, thanks Mike for supporting my friend who just came back after 6 years!" Dustin rolls his eyes, "your a great friend, why don't you just stay in California once El and Will go back."
Will paused. Looking at Mike, "What about Eddie and our DnD club!"
Dustin yelled, "Eddie's dead! He's been dead for 2 weeks while your ass was in California we saved the world without your little girlfriend." Dustin continued to yell, "So fuck you Mike Wheeler!" Nancy and Robin turned their heads to The argument. Mike was shocked, Dustin turned his head to Robin, "just drop the movies at Steves, Robin."
Dustin storms off, pissed. El looks at Mike, "mike."
Mike sighs, as Nancy and Robin head back to the counter, "What the fuck happened?"
"Mike found out Eddie died and Dustin got mad." Will sighs.
Robin jumps over the counter, "welp, I'm going to close the store in 7 minutes so get your ass's a movie and get out."
