As Wilson walked into the school, Eddie stayed on his shoulder. Dustin was the first to know and then proceeded to tell the whole friend group under Eddie's permission.
As Wilson got strange looks from everyone, Wilson didn't care since It was like having a bird. Of course most people don't know how to take care of a bird so more like a butterfly.
Mike was putting something in his locker when he spotted Wilson and Eddie, he smiled and closed his locker, closing the lock and running to Wilson.
"Hey Mike!" Wilson smiled.
Mike stopped in front of Wilson, "hey Wilson." Eddie waved his small hand at Mike, Mike looks at Eddie, "hey buddy!"
Eddie rolled his bat eyes, "shut up."
Mike paused, "Holy shit. You can talk."
"shut up before I get kicked out." Eddie flew up onto Wilson's head.
Mike nodded, "right. Sorry."
Wilson and Mike walk to their next class, the teacher wasn't there yet so they just sat down and Wilson feed Eddie some peices of honeycomb cereal.
"Look at that freak hanging out with A bat." Some guy in the back of the class smirked.
His buddy smiled, "What if we take the pet? Lock Wilson in a locker and keep it?"
"We could sell it." The guy stared at Eddie.
His buddy nodded, "after class?"
The guy looked at His buddy, "after class."
As the door opened, the class quickly sat down and Eddie hid in Wilson's backpack.
As Mike and Wilson learned Math. Dustin, Max, and Lucas learned English.
Dustin groaned, "Why can't we ever see something cool."
Max chuckled, "Because you were the first person to know and so you'll be the last."
Lucas smiled, "you know Dustin, maybe you would like for Susie to see too."
Dustin stares at Lucas, "it was just one time."
As first period ends, Wilson heads to the bathroom with Eddie still in his backpack. The two guys follow him.
As Wilson entered the bathroom, the two boys grab his backpack making eddie yelp from the sudden grab. The guys buddy pins Wilson down to the bathroom floor as the other boy grabs Eddie from the backpack with a tight grip enough for Eddje not to be able to transform.
Eddie trys to bite the boy but is unable to as Wilson goes into another vision. But this was different.
The ghost figure stands in front of Wilson, "come on. Your really going to let a stupid kid hurt you and Eddie? Maybe your father was right."
Wilson yells, "I don't even know you! Don't talk about my father like that!"
The ghost becomes soild, "Why do you think i left."
Wilson pauses, "What the fuc- you left me and now you come back as a 'guardian?'"
Wilson's brother sighs, "Look, I didn't want to leave but I had to keep the family business going."
"By become dead?!" Wilson looks away, "Why."
"What?"
Wilson stares at his brother, "Why haunt me?"
The world comes back, Wilson was up against a wall, a black eye, and blood running down his nose. The boy with Eddie was putting him in Wilson's backpack and zipping it up. As boys buddy was about to throw another punch, Dustin appeared behind him and knocked him out. Wilson starts to stand up but leans on the sink as another vision hits him.
This time it was a dirty blond guy with a tank top on. Blood dripping out of his mouth.
"Welcome back!" The guy smiled or tried to, "I'm Billy and I'll be your true guide."
Wilson paused, "aren't you Max's brother?"
Billy grabs Wilson's hand and throws him onto the ground which changes into a classroom. Where his mother is teaching him advanced math, that soon changes into Wilson's brother trying to help him out.
Eddie changes into his human form and grabs Wilson as his eyes flutter to white. The two boys were placed in stalls for when they wake up.
Dustin watched as Eddie picked up Wilson in his arms. Dustin and Eddie walked out of bathroom. Luckily it was 2 period and no one out in the hallways. Dustin quickly went to the nearest phone which was outside and called Steve.
As Dustin did that Eddie put Wilson the bench next to it and turned back into a bat. Wilson still doesn't wake up.
"Hey Steve." Dustin looks at Eddie who is Resting on Wilson's head, "we have a problem."
