Alex was chilling in the Avengers Tower watching TV.

(Dramatic flashback starts now)
Emerald was tired.
They were fighting the things for the past 1 1/2 hour. Emerald ducked and blasted the thing that tried to kill him in the face. The monster blew up. Seemed like the last one. She hoped it was. All all of them wanted to do right now was curl up in a blanket with their siblings and have the Bones marathon. The Bones were (for some reason. He didn't know how that show wasn't as triggering for them as some shows) the only thing most of them could agree on watching. Blaze loved the gruesome murders and liked to point out how they would get away with it or writing down suggestions (a/n: Blaze was created to deal with the trauma of having to kill people to survive he's not the "bad" alter there isn't a "bad" alter in this story he's safe don't worry (he doesn't kill unless they're forced to in that case he does it since it's what he was made to do. He jokes about it but doesn't like doing it unless he has to)). Alex loved the science behind it and liked to learn from it. Em just liked the romance between Booth and Brennan (bonesbooth 4 eva). And Alex will never admit it but he loves the romance as well. Mai admired Booth and wanted to be like him when he grows up.
"Well that was the last one see you guys I hope never" Em said. "Whoah where do you think you're going? Your fought with us you're officially part of the Avengers now" Natasha said.
"As much as I don't like a child fighting I must admit she's right. You are an amazing fighter I can tell you can take care of yourself but still always be careful" Rogers said.
"So we're teammates now? Equal?" Em asked for Blaze.
"Yes" Steve said. And the ran to see more creatures flying through the portal.
"We have to find a way to shut this thing down" Em said. "That is the least of our worries" Em was full on ready to blow the person that said that's face off but stopped when he saw it was the goatee guy.
"Stank" he said. The guy became angry. "It's Stark!" he said. "And S.H.I.E.L.D just released a bomb that's heading towards the city and we can't stop it" he said. Oh that WAS bad. "But we need to close the portal wait why don't we combine these two I'll fly the bomb up there and the portal and make it blow up while Natasha shuts down the portal with the guys magic stick" she didn't wait for the response. Long and traumatic story short, they flew in the air and flew the bomb in the portal.
After coming back to Earth in a VERY painful landing they went to chain up Loki and then get some shawarma.

Alex's POV
And that's how he became an avenger. After oh so many so so many interviews that they all had to get through, so many awkward questions he had to answer (before you ask yes the Avengers knew they had DID but the press for sure didn't the rest of the Avengers made sure of that. They would get bombarded with questions and would probably switch couple of times before they could give them an actual answer), he finally had some peace and quiet. The Avengers went for a mission and they (after much arguing) ordered Chinese food and watched the Bones marathon.
They were on season 6 and episode 22. Vincent Nigel-Muray's death was just discussed. Alex was fronting and he was weeping (just like the episode before this just that it was for different reason)
"Broski was aiming for the me on the phone but I gave it to Vincent " Alex cried. He couldn't believe they just killed him. Just like that. He was just the collateral damage. Then the sentence hit him.
Just the collateral damage.
How many good people were lost just because he couldn't help them?

How many demigods lost during the wars had families, life's?
Just the collateral damage.
He weepeed. He would've given everything to swap their place.

Why did he live and they didn't? If anything they deserved to die much more than them.

It's all your fault!! He heard the voice say.
"Alex..." Alex heard Em. They wanted to cheer him up.
Alex made sure to keep his distance from the Avengers. Everyone that came close to him died. He didn't want that for them. They were innocent he didn't want any more good people die.
He was glad that the Avengers were on a mission. The last thing he needed was them comforting him. He didn't want them close.
They would end up hating him anyway.
Suddenly he hears commotion behind him.
He summons a dagger and tackles them and holds it to their throat. The person was in chains.
He suddenly recognized them.
"LOKI?!?!"
