He opens the frontdoor and lets me step in first.
"So where is your mom?" I ask as I see nobody around.

"She's not here yet. She's coming home from work at like 8." He answers.
"P.m?" My eyes widen.
"Yup." Are you fucking?
"But it's 4. Why the heck did I have to come that early?" I yell.
"I don't know. Maybe because you wouldn't have come if I asked you. Plus I don't have any plans today so I'm bored." He shrugs and leads us to his room.

I plop down on his desk chair. I look around for something to throw at him and find a bunch of pens. He plops down on his bed and smiles. That's when I throw the first pen on his stomach. I aimed for his face.

"Is that your way to tell me I should pull off my shirt?" He smirks.
"Oh please. As if anybody wants to see you shirtless." I mock and throw the second pen.
"Oh. You asked for it." He says standing up and pulling his shirt off.
I look away.
"Put it back on." I say.
"Okay. I'm decent." I hear him say and look at him. To everyone's surprise he's still shirtless. Damn those abs.. wait, stop.

"Okay. I'm out of here." With that I stand up and open his door.
"Okay okay. Wait, I'll put it back on." He holds me back. He actually puts it on and I sit back down on his chair.
I take out my phone and start playing candy crush. He takes another stool and sits down next to me.

"Argh." I say as I didn't pass the level again.
"Let me try." Brodie says and takes my phone out of my hand.
I see his finger move very fast and soon hear my phone ring. He furrows his eyebrows and picks it up.
"Yeah?" He asks.
"What the hell Brodie. Give me my phone." I say but he backs away and stands up.
"No she's busy man sorry." With that he hangs up.

"Are you fucking serious? Who was that?" I ask him as he hands me my phone back.
"Some guy named Jared." I hit him hard. On his fucking head.
"Ouch." He says, rubbing his head.
"Don't you know it's rude to pick up a strange phone?" I ask.
"No. Plus you know your not angry because I picked it up. You're angry because I turned that prick down." He says.

"He's not a prick. And yes I fucking am. Who do you think you are?" I yell.
"Did you forget you are mine for the rest of the day? I knew you'd go out with that bastard if he asked you. And then I wouldn't get my stuff back." He says.
"Maybe he wanted to do something tomorrow or I could have postponed it. But you had no right." I say angrily sitting down again. He sits back down next to me and let's his head hanging.

"Why can't we for once talk like normal people." He asks, looking at my hand.
"Because you are annoying and just I don't know. You're getting on my nerves." I answer looking at him.
"I know." He gives me a half smile. I look back at the clock and surprisingly it's only 5:23.

"What do you want me to do when your mom comes?" I ask.
"I don't know. Just be nice I guess. I'll say I helped you with some homework and you agree." I nod.
"I'm bored." My stomach growls and Brodie stands up.
"Common. Let's get you something to eat." He says.

"I'm not hungry." It's that time again. I feel bad and just can't get myself to eat twice a day.
"But you haven't eaten since lunch and that's five hours ago." He says.
"And? When I say I'm not hungry then I'm not." I duscuss. He shrugs and sits back down.
After a while he stands back up and takes his shirt off.
"What the hell are you doing?" I yell.
"Calm down I just want to change my shirt. I'm sweating." He says.

"Where is your sister by the way?" I ask and he turns his back to me. It's just then that I see his scars. He has a big scar on the right side of his back and some smaller once on the other side.
"Ahh. She's at a friends house." He says and finally finds a new shirt.
"Where did you get those scars from?"

"None of your business." He says and plops back down. I frown.
"There you go again." I murmur.
"I'm sorry Sky, I just don't want to talk about it." He says looking at me.
"It's fine. I shouldn't have asked." I say and give him a smile. But I still want to know it though.
"Maybe sometimes I'll tell you okay?" I just nod.

"I'm still bored Brodie. Don't you have anything amusing?" I plead.
"Well I told you my mom took my stuff away. But we could play a game."
"Marco?" I ask.
"Polo." He says. We always played that game when we were little. We actually did share some good moments together.
"You start." He hands me one of his tank tops. I put it around my head.
"Okay go." With that I can't hear his breath anymore.
"Marco." I yell.
"Polo." I hear from outside. I attempt to find the door.

"Marco." I yell once I'm outside.
"Polo." He says not so far away. I keep going and bump into something.
"Marco." I say again.
"Polo." He whispers and takes my blindfold off. He always did that.
"Don't do it that easy Brodie. I'm not small anymore. " I pout.
"I know, principessa. But I got bored." He puts the blindfold on and I move away.

It is 7:30 and his mom should be home in half an hour.
"Are you sure you're not hungry? I am hungry and going to make a sandwich. You can have a half if you don't want a whole one." Brodie asks, politely.

"No. But thank you." I answer and he frowns. We go downstairs to the kitchen and I watch him trying to make his sandwich and laugh.
"Oh god. That's horrible to watch. Get out of the way looser I'm making you a sandwich." I say and push him away. He sits down infront of me at the kitchen counter.
"I'm not that bad. I could have done it." He pouts.
"Sure you could." I laugh and continue making his sandwich.

"Thank you." He says after I handed him his food.
"No problem." I say, wandering around the kitchen and look at all the photos on the refrigerator.
"Aw. I remember that one. I was crying because you guys pushed me in the water. But then you gave me a flower as an apology and I threw it on the ground and stomped on it." I laugh as I see a picture when I was like 6.

"Ya. Told you that you love to be dramatic." He says making me roll my eyes.
We hear the front door open and I look at Brodie.

'Show time baby' he mouthed.
Indeed.
