I wake up to a my phone ringing loudly and I groan. I'm so hungover. My whole body hurts. I sit up slowly and open my eyes. That's not my room. What the hell?

I feel movement right next to me and look down. Brodie is laying in his bed, shirtless. I frown. My eyes widen as I remember what happened yesterday. I look around the room for my clothes. I spot them spread all over the ground.

Slowly I jump off the bed and put my clothes back on. I'm about to turn the knob when he speaks up.
"Sky. I'm sorry."

I don't turn around but take a deep breath and step out. I make my way downstairs and carefully get out.
"Skylar." He says and I turn around. He followed me downstairs and is now standing some feet away from me, with only his blanket around his waist.

"How dare you." I say as I slap him across the face. He takes a hold of my wrist.
"I'm so sorry. I shouldn't have done that to you. I forgot you were drunk." He apologises. I push him away, turning around again and making my way home.

"I'm so sorry. I was so drunk. I totally forgot about you guys." I say over the phone. I totally ditched the girls yesterday.
"Are you joking? I don't even remember what happened yesterday. All I know is that I had fun." Ashley laughs.

"Yeah. I also had a lot if fun with Debra." London says.
"What?" All of us ask in synch.
"Well she was drunk as fuck and told me she liked me. I actually spit my drink in her face. She's a lesbian. Who would have thought about that." She yells and I laugh.
"Okay guys I love you but I really need to cure my hangover now, bye." I say and hang up.

A knock on the door wakes me up.
"Darling. Sheila (Brodie's mom) and I are going to the mall. Halen isn't here yet but will probably come in some hours. The food is in the microwave." My mom says, leaving me alone in the house. My dad is on a business trip again.

I go downstairs and pour me a glass of milk. My phone buzzes and I frown taking it out.

Can I come over? We need to talk. Brodie texts.

No. Not yet. I answer and slam it on the kitchen counter. It starts ringing and I ignore it. It starts ringing over and over again but I turn it off. I go back to my room and go back to sleep.

The front door opens and I stand up. I woke up two hours ago and started doing my homework. I go upstairs to see my mom and Sheila with shopping bags in their hands.
"Honey, the Shepherds are joining us for dinner." My mom says and I nod.
I run back upstairs and freshen up. The front door opens and I exhale loudly. I hear voices in the kitchen.

My bedroom door opens and I can smell his cologne. He wraps his hands around my waist and kisses my neck.
"Please." He says and I nod. His hug around my body tightens.
"I didn't mean to take advantage of you. You know I like you. You were so seductive yesterday. I am so sorry." He says and I turn around.
"We need to stop that. Whatever we are doing." I say.
"Please. Don't do that. Give me a chance." He pleads.

"Brodie. You know we can't. We can't even be friends. We can't talk properly. And then there's Debra and Cole. We can't." I say and he groans.
"But we could try. And I don't even like Debra." He says holding eye contact.

"Brodie, remember when I did you a favour. And you said, you'd do anything to make it up to me?" I ask and he nods in confusion.
"Please forget about it. Forget about last night. Can we go back to how it was?" I continue. He takes a step back and looks at me.

"Why the fuck should I do that. Was it that bad? Tell me. I don't regret anything that happened last night. We were both drunk, but I'm happy it happened." He hisses. I take a step forward.
"It wasn't bad at all Brodie. Yes we were both drunk but still...It wasn't wrong. It didn't feel wrong at all. But... please, Brodie." I place my hand on his chest and he relaxes under my touch.
"Only you, Sky. Only you." He mutters and hugs my waist. I hug him back and we stand there for a while until we hear my door open, followed by a gasp.

"Oh my god Sheila, come here. They are hugging each other." I blush and glare at my mother who shoots me a wink. If only she knew.
"Can you not?" I roll my eyes.
"Not what darling?" She asks innocently.
"Ship us like that. It's pretty weird." I answer.

***

"It was nice, Monica. We need to repeat that. I'm sure the kids would love to spend more time together. " Sheila adds and winks at me before hugging me. I roll my eyes and hug her back. She hugs my mom and both of them are looking between Brodie and me expectantly.

I look at him in confusion and see him already approaching me. He hugs my waist and I swing my arms around his neck. I hear our fangirls shriek and Nika gag.
"You just had to do that, didn't you?" I whisper in his ear. He nods, kisses my cheek and we pull back. I look around and blush.
"You know you're always welcomed here Brodie." My mom says while huggung him.
"Thank you." He says and pulls back.

I'm still missing my brother. Where is he when I need him. I go back in and decide to call him. After two rings he picks up.

"Yeah?" He answers.
"Where the fuck are you?" I ask.
"At a friends house. Why? Do you need something?" He asks.
"No I was just wondering. When do you come back?" I ask.
"I don't know." He says.
"Okay bye." I say and hang up.
Well that was weird. He's probably spending some time with his old friends.

My phone buzzes and I receive a message from Cole.
