(Chapter thirty-three)
We were at Hanna's at the crack of dawn. Emily's gone,she left in the middle of the night.
"She's not at swim practice." Spencer after she hung up the phone.
"I told you. She's not allowed near the pool." Hanna exclaimed.
"Guys, all of her clothes are here. You think she did something crazy?" Aria asked.
"Like what?"
"Like jump in her car and burn rubber till she hits Texas." Aria said.
"And leave everything behind? She didn't even take her phone." Spencer said.
"I wouldn't either if I were her. 'A' had his/hers/its hands around her neck. And keeps reminding her." Aria said.
"She hasn't slept in weeks." Hanna let out.
"Who has?" Aria questioned.
"Hanna, did you not see this?" Spencer asked looking at Emily's phone
"Is that you?" Hanna asked showing a picture to Aria. On the picture a brunett was kissing Ezra.
"Yeah,of course it's me." Aria replied.
"Well, unless you're Aria's mom, just assume it's Spencer, you know, slutting it up." Spencer deadpanned.
"When did she get that?" I asked.
"3:07 Am and it came with a text." Spencer said. "Clue Ella in and I'll let you out -A." Spencer read it out.
"Give me this." Aria said and snapped the phone out of Spencer's hand.
"Aria,chill. Emily would never send that to your mother." Hanna exclaimed.
"Well, of course she wouldn't because she can't, cause we have her phone and she left in the middle of the night." I exclaimed. "I mean where the hell is she?"

We went to Dr. Sullivan's office. We told her we are worried about Emily, and just on cue there was a knock on the door and Emily walked in.
"Your friends have been worried about you." Dr. Sullivan said.
"Em, why didn't you at least wake me?" Hanna asked. "I was sleeping five feet away from you."
"I can't keep asking my friends to take care of me." Emily said.
"Emily, look, if you were seriously thinking about going to Texas..." Aria started but Emily cut her off.
I didn't have any plans. I just knew that the longer I stayed here, the worse it was gonna get. And I'm not gonna be used like a bowling ball to knock down my best friends."
