A young cavelier headed towards the main entrance to Sanpura, which was also known as the golden city due to the lustrous formation of soil. Even the pond which was located at the entrance to the city had a touch of gold.
He bent down and took a handful of water inorder to quench his thirst. His own reflection formed on the water and alerted him about his aim. His thirst for revenge is ever lasting. Nanda rode into the city where villagers were busily scattered on the roads buying and selling. Moors and Chinese traders hurrying behind locals with load of goods despatched on their carts. Women who barely covered their upper body in rags were chatting with other women while holding their infants on their hips.
Motion of the cavelier slowed and the weary animal panted. Giant pillars divided the other end of the Dwarkanaj river and the gates were opened for him to enter into the lion citadel. He was warmly welcomed by the inhabitants of the citadel. They seems to be familiar nobles.
"Nanda,What are the news regarding Thrailokapura?" A firm but a tranquil voice was heard from the hallway. It was prince Badhra, he was fairer than his brother Yanak and kindhearted. Queen Sukarna's charm has been transfused into this noble Prince. They were disguised to ensure their safety.
"Prince, the coronation has taken place and they are in search of you and queen Sukarna. We have to be careful prince. We need to strengthen the security of the citadel my noble prince. "
Uttered Nanda.
Queen Sukarna's face furrowed as she understood how pathetic their lives were. She travelled back time to that moment when she met his beloved husband Rudhra. Their hearts were beating fast under the heavy drizzle. Those wet clothes attached to his body exposed his biceps and with a perfection of masculinity he was holding her anklet which was dripping wet. Shyness overran her when she realized that he was eying at her figure bathing in the moonlight. Since then they fell deeply for each other inseparably and they both were gifted with a son but it didn't take much time for the king to marry queen Berunda, daughter of a merchant for this merchant had supported him a lot in order to become the successor. She was such a cunning woman who was jealous and she was strongly addicted in practicing witchcraft. This woman was too mean and attempted to kill queen Sukarna several times so that she can win the king all by herself. She was like a storm in their lives.
"Berunda.... Berunda.... Berunda... She is such a disaster. My son I feel so tormented about you. She'll try to ruin you."
Prince Badhra shook his head.
"No mother, she can't hurt me and I am not afraid of Yanak or Berunda. I took a step back but it doesn't mean that I am a coward. Hereafter I won't consider him as my brother. We always treated them humanely but they never did so in return. They will have to pay for this. Specially for Massacring a whole clan."
Nanda clenched his Indrolika aggressively as he was fuelled by those words.
" Prince Badhra is correct lady Sukarna."
It was a matured voice which belongs to brahamin Kundali. He glanced at them in order to forward his conclusions.
"No one had succeeded so far in challenging my Smarnak Yoga which protects the whole citadel. So be calm lady Sukarna."
Rounds of discussions continued till night. Their most trusted servants Isikill, Guruli, Sumdik and Parnav were there serving and attending.
"Prince I am so glad l
to become a volunteer in banishing him. He has to pay for the sins he had done. Trust me my Prince I won't miss this chance and I assure you about his death."Nanda swore and gave a pledge with a strong confirmation. Prince Badhra patted on his shoulder.
" I trust you Nanda because you are more like a brother to me. I never had the thought of killing Yanak because he was my brother but we must eradicate the evil."
Prince Badhra armed Nanda with his Indrolika before he set towards Thrailokapura that night.
"Make sure to win his trust Nanda."
Said prince Badhra.
"Yes my lord."
Nanda took his blessings from brahamin Kundali. His face was overwhelmed with fatherly affection towards his friend's son Nanda.
"Our faith lies in you son. May God Kalawela (A belief regarding God) bless you."
A whole noble family awaits for his success but Nanda didn't feel even for a second that he is engaging in someone else's mission. The vast pillars parted and he set for his journey on a canoe. Water thrusted the ores as he put in effort while passing the sordid statues which stood beside the giant walls.

"Our Suveri is going to be the queen."
Feminine voices baffled along the chamber. They were teasing a fifteen years old young princess and she ran behind them and begged them to stop. Her soft skin adorned with a silky red bodice and a waist cloth. Her Jewels were sparkling due to the radiant rays of light forming on her marble mirrored chamber. Her blushed face was vivaciously occupied with dark hair strings as mild winds blew in. They ran all over the mansion joyfully. Their anklets jingled to the rhythm of their motion.
"I said stop. I'll teach you a lesson."
Her neatly combed hair which was tied into a knot was declinate and it took the shape of a dazzling cascade as it hungs down till her quoin. Those girls ran faster than Princess Suveri and hid behind the mansion walls. She was so nervous. She disliked them teasing her by saying his name but deep inside she felt something throbbing her whenever they used to say so.
Once she rejected his proposal when she was just twelve years. There was a big age gap between them so she feared him and of course she knew about his character.
She panted and continued her pace. At once she lost her balance and bumped into a masculine figure whom she never expected to see at the doorway.
