Berunda pierced the silence which prevailed in the Maya dasnawatha with her indignant cacophony. The whole Dale was rushed with a hassle and a huge black hole was formed in the sky like a tornado.
"A terrible spirit has been summoned and our dasnawatha is completely under it's control."
Said one of the spirit controllers. Cracks appeared in the black hole and penetrated a coal black odours substance.
"They are releasing toxins. Hurry up protect the queen."
Shadows moved further deep into the Maya dasnawatha with the fading odour. Berunda couldn't stand this helplessness in the face of this calamity. She pushed her guards away after the Maya dasnawatha got completely engulfed.
Her eyeballs moved ferociously and her chests heaved.
"How did such a thing happen while we have taken all the steps to ensure security. This is a huge disgrace. You all are useless. What's the point of being well practiced sorcerers. All our treasures, ancestoral manuscripts will be occupied by the one who controls Sathi. KUNDALI........... I KNOW IT'S YOU.
YOU ARE THE TROUBLE MAKER ACTING BEHIND THE SCENES."* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *
Sound of the hoofs beating the ground made Suveri impatient. Weariness in her eyes poured through her immaculate tears.
She had a doubt whether this was actually love. She limped as she got onto the chariot. Amithnal (Nanda) as a daily witness felt a deep grief towards this tender little princess.Forest paths were cleared and bright jonquils swayed too and fro. Breeze warmed her tears and cuddled around her silky skin. Now she had to face another challenge it was giving life to an offspring. The auspicious time has come but she wasn't apt.
Berunda was so mean that she used to make fun of her own daughter in law because of her infertility. Her innuendos were too much for her to bear up.
"A woman who can't even give birth to a child just like a useless depauperate tree."
Nanda could see through the lace curtains her attempts in hiding those tears. For some reason, Nanda felt a sentimental attachment towards this little chief Queen. Her yet immature voice and the tender body burned a fresh from the fire of lust became a huge matter for him to concern.
She paid frequent visits to the monaestry which was situated in the middle of the forest. There she kept her offerings to Goddess Paththini. She yearned for a child but it seems her pleadings aren't worth. The chariot halts suddenly with the unexpected intruders, forest bandits.
Suveri pressed hersef more onto the cosy chariot covering like a hind. Drops of sweat oiled her temples.
"You all take care of the Chief Queen. Be quick."
Amithnal ordered the female attendants and he sprang forward with the other guards.
"How dare you come in our Chief queen's way. Our majesty won't tolerate this. Bloody dogs."
Amithnal shouted.
One young man who looked like the leader of the bandit gang laughed devilishly.
"Your so called majesty is for Thrailokapura but I am the king of this forest."
These words seems to be a bit pleasing for him because he got to know that there are people who aren't afraid of Yanak. For the moment he had to conceal his content.
"Don't you dare speak a word. Make way or else....."
"Or else.. What?"
Amithnal's sword rushed from the top of the leader's head. He had a narrow escape as he bent down to evade it. They fought like wild beasts. Another bandit reached towards Suveri while she was taken away by the female attendants.
They loosed her grip and Suveri became a captive of the bandit.
She struggled and tried to push him but it wasn't easy for her to do so. At once,a sword pierced the flesh and she felt numb at the clutch of the strong limbs. The bandit covered his chest in order to stop the excess of blood. She was still pressed against his sententious chest. She felt something very unusual as this was not a gross clasp but a trustworthy clasp of his chief guard. They kept on fighting until the group gave up. They withdrew and dissappeared through the jungle.
Both were freezed for a moment. Suveri observed the way his veins bounced due to his anger. Few moments passed as he recovered from the trance.
"I beg your pardon chief queen."
Saying so, he released her from his embrace.
"What did I just do? Oh God what's going on with me."
Amithnal was internally blushing up due to his sudden action in protecting the chief queen. Suveri blushed in a hassle.
"Amithnal, you are bleeding."
She evaded from looking at his face as soon as she noticed the deep cut on his shoulder.
The other guards too rushed to treat their chief.
"Chief, Here apply this medicine. You must treat it." said one of the attendants.
"I am alright. Chief queen, Are you hurt?"
Suveri felt something deep inside her beating fast as he paid much concern towards her even though he was badly hurt.
"No.. N.. No Amithnal.. but you are. Let me treat it."
Some guards and attendants looked at each other's face as the chief queen was about to apply medicine on his wounds. Amithnal quickly refused.
"I am totally fine. Chief Queen, its not healthy to travel along this path. Let's come tomorrow. These days forest rebel bandits are active. They are powerful than we expect. We must change the route to the monaestry."
Amithnal said by putting his Indrolika into the sheath.
"Amithnal, I am the cause of your wound. I will always be thankful to you for saving my life by risking yourself. " Suveri uttered helplessly.
Amithnal smiled by hiding the pain in his wound.
"It's my duty Chief Queen."
Amithnal jumped onto the horse's back, by forgetting the fact that he is wounded.
Nanda's conscience voiced out that it was something more than his duty, a strong affirmation in taking care of.
