Suveri observed the paintings carved on the marble walls. Lotus flowers stucked in between slender fingers and negligees pouring down like fountains. She gazed at them with a pitying expression because of their erotic postures clinged onto naked bodies of men. Her consciousness recalled the painful nights she had to spend under the influence of lust.

She limped slightly as she walked into the royal orchard rich with vivid mouth watering fruits and incenses. Though this was known by the general public as "A heaven on earth." it was more like a prison for Suveri. This effect enhanced with all those phantoms hovering all over the palace. Men armed with magical caskets were chanting mantras and sprinkling holy water into the corners. Certain charming spirits who were hiding inside large pillars rised and created a shoal circling around the sky.

Her little eyeballs flickered with a childish giggle because that sight was somewhat pleasing. She was much focused on it so that she didn't even feel someone approaching her.

"Queen Suveri,"

She got startled and hooked aside. His gentleness and the way he bowed and greeted her with his warm smile made her feel so comfortable.

" I am Amithnal Aksha Senak, the chief guard of King Yanak. Our royal highness handed over the duty of assuring your security to me my lady."

Amithnal (Nanda) felt something banging inside deeply. He had never seen such a pretty little maiden fresh like a daffodil but she's an asset of Yanak. It goes the same way within tender little Suveri. Her heart thumping a bit faster. She smiled innocently. She didn't know what to say.

"Is it so young warrior? I should be so grateful for my lord for appointing you as the chief guard." Her lips parted and blushed her cheeks.

"Oh God!! What did I say? It sounds a bit awkward. Did I just address him as young warrior. Is it alright? How am I suppose to reply? I feel devastated."

Suveri questioned from herself. Being a young girl who lived under the wings of her parents she had no any proper knowledge about men. The only man whom she trusts with all her heart was no one else but her beloved father. She couldn't believe her husband because he wasn't her type. So how can she trust the chief guard, another stranger?

"How can I address her as the queen? She is still a young adolescent. Poor girl."

His mind rushed with those thoughts.

"My lady, If you want any assistance, make sure I'll be there at your service."

Suveri nodded her head and walked away silently. There was sorrow and pain hidden in her eyes. Amithnal could read those muted expressions clearly through her eyes.

Flames roused from the fire inside the chamber dedicated to Goddess Kali. Light rays bathed the statue of Goddess Kali by exposing a firece glare with the tongue drewn outward, ten hands each holding a weapon and eyes wide open.
