"King Yanak is furiously searching for an exorcist." People were gossiping along the corners of the local taverns. This was a huge disgrace for the royal family. Yanak ordered his chief minister Malviran to invite the most tactful exorcist to get rid of this powerful spirit who conquers the Maya Dasnawatha . Chief minister Malviran who was wise and intelligent than this evil young king had the ability to forsee the future so he thoroughly insisted that it won't work.

"I am the king . Malviran you must obey me. How can I be patient while the dasanawatha is in the hands of that lewd monster? Find the most skillful exorcist RIGHT NOW......"

"My Lord, I beg your pardon but this spirit Sathi is not easy to deal with. Once such a powerful spirit is summoned there's no way even the most adroit exorcist could handle. So this will just become a time waste my lord."

This time Yanak dragged his sword in a huge eerie. Blood has surged into his eyes and his eye balls were about to sprang down. The intoxication of the liquor and his anger both magnified his figure into that of a drunkard more than the king of Thrailokapura. Malviran moved aside as the drunkard king waved his sword and stuck it onto the golden plank which was in front of Malviran.

"DO AS I SAY OR YOU WILL DIE."

Malviran bowed before the king and quickly proceeded. It was a huge insult for a wise man like Malviran who was well experienced but he had no any other choice except obeying the young king. Malviran walked along the corridor by scratching his head and brushing his beard from his long wrinkled fingers. Malviran slowed his pace as he saw a young lad coming on his way. It was Amithnal. He paid his respect to the chief minister and entered into the king's chamber.

Malviran furrowingly lifted his brows and stared at his direction. Maybe his wit might have given him a signal about suspicion.

Nanda felt so disgusted as he saw the way king Yanak pour the whole wine jar into his mouth. He wiped the corners of his mouth when Amithnal granted permission to come inside.
For some spare minutes yanak forgot that there was a whole huge hassle going inside the palace due to the presence of Amithnal. Yanak had a special interest on Amithnal which he couldn't relate. At times he trusted him more than his faithful general Dasthan. Yanak sensed him as a good companion so he often invited Amithnal to join with him. It was too rare for a person to be so close to the king but Amithnal got the chance.

"Come Amithnal. I was waiting for you."

Amithnal occupied the cushion which was beside the king. He gave out an evil smirk unnoticed by the king.

"My Lord, It's not good for you and it's too much now. You will fall ill."

Meanwhile his heart was fluttering joyfully by cursing the king.

"Just put an end to yourself . Dog...."

The king looked at Amithnal. The glisten of the lamp polished Amithnal's ethereal beauty.
The king smiled at Amithnal as he sipped the wine.

"Amithnal, I must be so grateful to you for saving the chief queen from those bandits. So this is my gift for being such a good, protective soldier."

The king offered him the red ruby which was nestling on his shoulder for all this time.

"OH, Great king, I do not deserve such gifts from you. Please your highness, I only performed my duty."

King Yanak smiled and forcefully handed him over the red ruby.

"This is not meant only for saving the queen but also for being a loyal companion."

Amithnal looked down in order to avoid the king's face. He hated it that much.

"Stop looking at me like that way. I want to tear up your flesh."

Amithnal's mind was jerking out.

"Amithanl, You know, No one can understand me but there were only two people who had the ability to understand me. One of them is mother Sukarna. yes she was so dear to me than my own mother but she didn't take my side. Now I have another person who can understand me. Do you want to know who that person is?"

"Yes my Lord."

"It's no one else but you."

Amithnal's body grew pale as he heard those words, He felt as if someone was gripping his neck and was about to choke.

" A lunatic indeed. Who cannot even figure out his enemies. I never thought him to be such a fool. How can he trust a person so soon. "

King Yanak grew a friendly intimacy towards this youth because of the incident which took place on "Nildiya mankada compound."

Yanak's POV

A huge crowd was gathered to the royal compound. I walked passing the youths who were lowering their heads in front of me but there was that one young lad who was looking straight into my soul. Those eyes were strong enough to grind me up.

It could have been the last glimpse for a person who looks at me in that way but I couldn't think of cutting off his head that day. He had the personality of a majestic warrior.

"How dare you stare at the king."

A senior guard forced him to bow down before me but this youth dropped him onto the ground with one chance. He beat them down mercilessly, fiercely. He possess unique skills.

Since that day onwards I appointed him to be my chief guard.

I felt so contented to build up a friendship with a youth who is thousand times stronger than fire and dynamic than the massive winds. I never felt jealous about his qualities other than a huge desire.

Though at first Amithnal didn't show respect towards me he protected me from the attacks of my enemies. He became my closest friend. I shared every secret of mine like a fool in front of him not knowing whether he's trustworthy. I hope that he won't break my trust.

No one listened to me except mother Sukarna but I hate her now for choosing his own son without paying attention to me.

I feel glad at least there's a good friend for me.

Yanak was engrossed in his thoughts so that he didn't even feel the moon light falling onto the ceiling and his faithful friend sitting in front of him. But he was totally unaware of the fact that he's nurturing his own death inside his Palace.

"Your highness, Let me take my leave. Good night my lord."

Amithnal bowed before the king.

"Amithnal you are my closest friend so please help me to protect my dasnawatha. If it get destroyed it'll be pointless to carry on my life."

Amithnal felt so strange about the helplessness of Yanak. He had never been fallen into such a pathetic state.

"Remember, this is only the start."

He muttered to himself.
