Mallory POV
Staring down at my plate while I picked up a chunk of fruit. There was a nudge at my foot but I ignore it and bite the fruit off the fork. It could be anything really. Pups playing a game under the table, someone accidentally hitting me while swinging their legs, etc.The nudge came back a little higher at my ankle. Looking to my left, I see Wyatt, the culprit. He looked at me with an expecting look but only for me to stare confused. He quirked his eyebrow trying to get me to understand. I look away to continue eating, not understanding what he was getting at.
He audibly huffed and place his hand on my thigh. This wasn't exactly unusual, it was normal for him to rest a hand on me while we sat next to each other. But when it started to move, I stop eating and turn my head. He had another expecting look on his face. Staring at him with my mouth full of food. I nod and grab his hand, pulling him to our bedroom.
Wynter POV
From a few tables away, we watched Mallory and Wyatt leave the dining hall. And we all knew what they were going to do. " They are not good at being discreet," Willa commented." Oh honey, I'm not sure they are trying to be," Ms. Lykensen said.

It's been couple hours and still no sign of Wyatt and Mallory. In the main area of the den with Willa talking about anything to pass the time. Out of no where the ground started to shake and the wolves went into a panic grabbing onto anything they can to stay stable.
The ground started to split open with hot steam rising and burning glow coming from the crack. A shadow figure then made it's way up, the sound of chains rattling became louder and echoed against the walls. When the figure made it to the top and broke through the steam, all our eyes widened.
" Where's my daughter?" He asked. Ms. Lykensen came down the stairs.
" Wynter, get Mallory and Wyatt now," she said through the side of her mouth. I nodded and ran down the hall that lead to their quarters.
Mallory POV
I laid on my stomach catching my breath as Wyatt let go of my hips and moved to lay beside me. I looked at him with tired eyes which he chuckled at. His eyes softly scanned over my face and pushing a piece of fallen hair behind my ears. " I love you."I giggle and try to move a little closer, " I love you too." He leaned in reconnecting our lips for a slow, gentle kiss. Differing greatly from the past couple hours.
It abruptly came to an end when loud knocks rapped against the door, and scaring us to jump apart. Wyatt groaned and propped himself on his elbows. The knocking came again but louder. " Thank you, we heard you the first time!" Wyatt called out annoyed.
" Sorry!" Wynter said from the other side of the door. " I know I'm interrupting and I'm sorry again. But there is something Mallory needs to come sort out." I lift my head and turn to the door with a confused look.
" Elaborate please," Wyatt says.
" Hades showed up from the ground," Wynter says very quickly.
" You've got to be shitting me!" I exclaimed and quickly getting up from the bed. But as I moved to stand, my legs gave out. I groaned annoyed and pulled myself up by the nightstand.
I hear Wyatt chuckle but scolding him to be serious was my last priority right now. I mumble a quick healing spell and regaining my stability. I run around the room, simultaneously cleaning and pulling clothes from the drawers. I pull and shirt, sweats, and underwear from the drawer and throw it at Wyatt. " Hey!" He exclaimed pulling the shirt off his face.
" Quit staring, my father is here!" I say while quickly pulling clothes on. He gets the memo and starts pulling on clothes just as fast as I am. After straightening a few things out, we leave the bedroom and hastily enter the main area of the den. There was a large glowing crack in the floor of the den with steam rising from it.
