*Kira's pov*

When I wake up, I'm laying on Malia.

I smile softly.

I had a lot of questions.

I had no idea what our relationship was now.

My phone vibrates.

Everything from last night hits me hard.

I grip the sides of my head.

I reach over to my phone.

It wasn't a message from my family.

It was from Scott.

"I need you to get here as fast as possible."

That's all the text said.

I don't respond.

I turn and wake up Malia.

I don't say anything, I just show her the message.

She gets up and pulls me along.

Our bodies are pressed against each other.

Our noses almost touching.

She smiles down at me.

She flashes her fangs and pushes me off.

"Get dressed weirdo."

I walk into the guest bedroom and change.

Malia was leaning on the door.

She's holding her phone, a scowl on her face.

"Hey, you ok?"

She looks up and quickly puts her phone away.

"Yeah, you ready?"

I nod.

I didn't get a chance to ask about what happened at Scott's last night.

Hopefully, we didn't get home late.

She keeps so many things in.

I just wanted her to know that she can talk to me.

When we get to Scott's house.

Aiden and Theo's cars are outside.

Malia lives super close to Scott so we only had to walk.

She knocks on the door.

Scott swings it open.

His eyes seem to be a permanent red.

"Scott?"

He walks into the living room.

Malia closes the door behind me and follows Scott.

Liam is on the floor bouncing his leg.

Jordan is leaning on the wall, fists balled up, eyes closed.

The room reeked of anxiety.

I walked over to Liam.

I stopped, closing my eyes.

I squeezed my hands tight.

I stumble.

I open my eyes slightly to see Liam on his back claws digging into his legs.

I stumble forward.

I lay down next to him.

I can imagine everyone is looking at us.

I lift my hand and he pulls his claws out of his leg.
