(The scars' glowing initially dies down, and the camera pans to see Harry and Emma who are now ten and nine, still sleeping. Then, the light turns on outside their bedroom cupboard under the stairs.)

This is instantly met by an uproar. "They made you sleep in a cupboard under the stairs?!"

"How come you never told us?!"

Snape, who expected they lived in some sort of paradise, looks horrified, having a similar experience with his father.

"I told you not to leave them with those horrid Muggles!" cries McGonagall to Dumbledore, who looks regretful.

Harry and Emma shrink a little, trying to hide from the sympathetic glances.

Petunia: Up. Get up. (She knocks on the closet door repeatedly.) Now! (She smacks the door of the closet and stalks into the kitchen.)

(Harry and Emma wake up, Harry turning on their bedroom light and putting on his glasses with tape on the bridge, indicating that it was partly damaged. A large, chubby boy, Dudley Dursley, suddenly comes running down the stairs above the closet. He stops halfway down and goes back, jumping on the staircase.)

Dudley: Wake up cousins! We're going to the zoo!

(Harry and Emma glance up at the joint works of the stairs with small amounts of dust rising. Emma sneezes, a cute, high pitch sound)

The crowd coos and Emma looks down, embarrassed. Harry takes her in his arms to hide her from the looks she was receiving.

(Emma tries to come out of the cupboard, but is pushed back by Dudley. Harry and Emma walk towards the kitchen where Dudley headed towards.

(Inside is Petunia stirring a tub, Uncle Vernon and Dudley.)

Petunia: Oh, here he is, the birthday boy! (To Harry and Emma unpleasantly) Why don't you two cook breakfast, and try not to burn anything.

Harry: Yes, Aunt Petunia.

(Harry then gets onto cooking the bacon.)

Vernon: (To Emma, who is setting the table.) Bring me my coffee, girl.

Emma: (Rushing over to the coffee machine) Yes Uncle Vernon.

The crowd boos, annoyed that the tow are being used as slaves.

(Petunia leads Dudley to the living room, which is covered by presents, big and small.)

Dudley: (Suspiciously) How many are there?

Vernon: Thirty-six, counted 'em myself.

Dudley: Thirty-six?! But last year - last year I got thirty-seven!

Vernon: Err, yes but some of them are bigger than last year.

Dudley: (Angrily) I don't care how big they are!

Emma: (To Harry quietly) That kid is spoiled too much.

Harry: (Murmuring) Agreed.

The crowd chortles.

Petunia: (Calming Dudley down) Oh, now, now, now. This is what we're going to do, is that when we go out, we're going to buy you two new presents! How's that, pumpkin?

(Outside the house, the Dursleys are heading to the car.)

Petunia: This is going to be a fine morning. I'm really looking forward to it.
