'*•.¸♡ chapter eight ♡¸.•*'

I turned on jamangi first, since it was a personal favorite of mine. I quickly brushed my (H/c) hair, putting the brush away and walking back.

"Excited to go back to work?" I asked childe, crossing my legs.

Childe looked at me, then shrugged. "Mm, I don't know."

I huffed, then looked at zhongli. "Hey, zhongli. What are you doing tomorrow?" I asked.

Zhongli looked at me "nothing, I haven't decided on what to do."

"Great! Maybe you and childe can go out for coffee tomorrow?" I grinned, winking at childe who widened his eyes.

"Yeah, theres a new coffee shop downtown anyway." Albedo jumped in, and i giggled a bit. Zhongli smiled, looking at childe.

"Do you want to go?" He asked, and childe looked at him. 

"Ah- sure!" He smiled.

They then began to discuss what time they'd meet, and i formed a plan. 

"Albedo." I whispered, scooting over to him. "Yeah?" I raised a brow, leaning in. "How about we spy on them tomorrow?" I grinned.

Albedo thought for a moment, then eventually agreed. We then turned to the two, listening.

Finally, they stopped talking and we began the movie session. I was excited this time, unlike when we were forced to watch titanic.

Albedo sat next to me, and me being a good host gave everyone a blanket. Us sharing,

Childe gave me some weird glances and winks, but I ignored it.

I took a moment to stretch, then started the movie. 

During the movie, albedo would make notice if childe or zhongli made a move towards each other. Sometimes whispering to me.

The next day came pretty quickly, with childe and zhongli leaving pretty early. Giving me and albedo little time to follow them.

Albedo brought some binoculars, handing them to me.

"Sweet." I grinned. 

Currently we're in his car, driving a little behind childe and zhongli.

"What are they doing?" Albedo asked, looking at me.

I looked through the binoculars, squinting my eyes a bit. "Seems like their just talking right now." I shrugged.

Albedo nodded, then we continued to follow them in the cars.

"They seem to of taken the longer route." Albedo noticed, and I chuckled.

"Probably to get to know each other more." I giggled at this, and albedo smiled a bit.

We finally arrived to the new coffee place, waiting a couple minutes for the two to go in so we didn't look suspicious.

"Mm, they've sat down." I was watching them through the binoculars. Soon putting them down.

"Alright, where have they sat?" Albedo asked, getting out the car.

I pulled up the binoculars again, then smiled. "Their near the back, away from the door and can't see the counter!" I called out, leaving the car.

Albedo was waiting for me already at the door, and i ran towards him.

"Ready?" He asked, opening the door for me. "Yep!" I smiled, walking in.

We walked to the counter, putting in both our orders.

"Lets sit over here, so we can still see them." I pointed to a table a bit far away, then we both sat down.

I watched the duo, taking mental notes at how they behaved. I glanced to albedo, who looked like he was deep in thought.

"You okay?" I asked, slightly kicking him with my foot. He jolted out his thoughts, looking at me.

"Oh, yes. Apologies. How have childe and zhongli acted?" He suddenly changed the subject, making me a bit suspicious.

"Mm, they've been talking for a while." I sighed, a bit disappointed.

Albedo nodded, then walked off to grab our drinks.

"Hm, he's acting weird.." i thought, sighing. 

Albedo soon came back with our drinks, and i gladly took mine. "Thanks." I smiled, he looked a bit flustered but managed to say a "your welcome."

I shrugged it off, then continued to try my drink.

"Ooo, tastes amazing!" I grinned, then looked at albedo. "Try it." I suddenly spoke, sliding it in front of him.

"Eh- try it?" He questioned, his cheeks going a bit red.

"Mhm! I want to show you how sweet it tastes!"  

I was practically grinning by now, then albedo finally agreed and slowly took a sip. As soon as he drank it, his eyes lit up.

"Oh, wow. I haven't had anything sweet in a while." He muttered, then looked at me.

"Thanks." He gave a soft smile, then slid my drink back. I widened my eyes for a moment.

Why did it feel like my heart raced when he smiled?

I must be getting sick.

I put my hand up to my face, feeling it heat up.

"Yeah, i just might be sick. Right?" I thought.

Albedo pointed at the duo we originally came for, and i looked so see them pretty close to each other.

"Oh! Awww!" I stared at the two, feeling very happy at them. 

I excepted albedo to watch as well, but he was just staring at me.

"Is there a problem, albedo?" I asked, causing him to jolt.

"O-oh uhm.."

"Aww, you stuttered." I beckoned, booping his nose. Which made him a bit red.

"Its not like that, you just caught me by surprise. Thats all." He reassured me, looking at the ground.

I chuckled, leaning into my chair. "Whatever you say, pretty boy." I winked.

"Pretty boy?" Albedo thought
