This takes place during the scene where Emily sees the moon again 🥺💙

"I've spent so long in the darkness, I'd almost forgotten how beautiful the moonlight is.."

The moon shown down on the entity that stood beside Y/n.
The moonlight lit up her features elegantly, bathing her in almost an angelic light. She looked magnificent.
Emily was the most beautiful thing Y/n had ever seen in her life, and she was starting to regret her choice of deceiving the corpse. Emily was so pure and didn't deserve to be betrayed yet again by someone she believed loved her.

A butterfly fluttered above both of them as they stood gazing at the Moon. Emily let out a light chuckle as she watched it fly away into the trees.
She let out a happy sigh and started dancing in the small clearing.
Twirling, and gliding along the snow covered ground.
Y/n watched her in wonderment as she spun around her before looking away.

'am I really making the right decision? This beautiful creature doesn't deserve this..' Y/n's mind wound itself into knots thinking of how she should go about her predicament, but while she was deep in thought she hadn't noticed the corpse fall and lose her leg on a root of a tree.
"Psst, hey, I think you dropped something" maggot whispered, and as quickly as she had lost it, she popped her knee back into it's joint, connecting her leg again.
Y/n looked back at Emily, making up her mind to go through with her plans, though she knew she'd cause pain she needed to see P/n(partners name).
Emily giggled and continued to dance, going behind a tree and reappearing on the other side, walking closer to Y/n and dancing around her.
Suddenly, Y/n grabbed Emily's shoulders and guided her gently to sit upon a headstone.
"Hold on," She started. "I think I should prepare mother and father for the.. the big news" her voice held a nervous tone. "I'll go ahead.. and you wait here."

"Perfect!" Emily exclaimed. Her eyes held love and admiration for Y/n, and they sparkled with trust.
Y/n's heart ached, she still felt horrible for being so deceitful.

"I won't be long.. stay right here," she stared to walk away from the seated bride. "Be right back.."

"Ok!" Emily hummed

"No peaking!" And with that y/n ran off towards the town in hopes that when she got there she'd be in the arms of her P/n once more, but she would be gravely mistaken.

This was really fun to write🥺💙 I might do the part where Emily and Y/n argue but I'm not quite sure.
I hope everything sounds good in this, corpse bride is such a comfort movie to me and I love Emily so much, she deserves better honestly.
