Saturday, Reigen has decided to give everyone the day off. Although, if there were any reservations for today, he wouldn't have done the same. He just needs to get out and take a walk. But he didn't say that. Let's just have everyone think that he had a real reason to cancel an entire day of work.
Honestly, there isn't much to say. It was a disappointing walk. Reigen didn't know what he was expecting, but it surely didn't arrive. Which was unfortunate, but not too bothersome. It was an exceptional day, and Reigen was willing to appreciate it, despite the fact that the world seemed to refuse to move. As in, the air was still and quiet, a contrast to Reigen's seemingly chaotic and continuous life.
Why was it like that? A question he never asked. Really, when you're so cool and confident, you'll realize that most things will easily slide past you, drifting off into the past. There is no point in lingering on it, really... Especially since Reigen insisted on complaining about boring and regular days. The stressful ones also bring a sense of relief, however odd that might sound.
Reigen looks up at the large building that he lives in. His walk has come to an end, and a well-deserved one. He doesn't know it now, but he's been aimlessly wandering around still streets for nearly three hours.
But as he stares up at the tall brick structure, the noon sun just poking from behind it to annoyingly hit his eyes, Reigen turns back around. He's wearing his gray suit, as usual, and it's wearing down as he sweats and paces through the city. But it's been through a lot, and can take much, much more.
Hopefully, the same logic can be applied to Reigen himself.
His hands in his pockets, his eyes to the floor, Reigen weighs the options in his mind. Should he go to the store again? He'll need more food soon. Or maybe go to the park, and observe the greenery that can be found there? Or maybe even, hang out with a friend. Something he hadn't done in a little while.
Another day. He will make plans for another day. His birthday is coming up, after all. Wasn't that something to celebrate? Everyone else always enjoys things like that. And Reigen is always up for a party. Maybe he can find a way to turn it into a business opportunity. A sale of some sorts. Those always seem to work out.
But due to the promise of another day bringing him all the excitement, this one was left dull. Going no where, continuing to walk. But hey, at least it was pretty, and the autumn air is nice, too.
