"Alright, that's a wrap."

Reigen looks up towards where the voice was coming from, seeing the spirit Dimple hovering nearby.

"What...?" Is all he questions, fighting back a yawn. It's been a long day of doing absolutely nothing. But he saw Serizawa and Mob, so maybe that was worth something.

Dimple floats closer to Reigen's desk, "It's midnight," He states, "That means my October second personality is coming to an end. I need to start my October third version of myself," Reigen just sighs at this explanation, assuming that this apparition was once again messing with him.

"What? You act like having a fresh start each day is a bad idea," Dimple raises one of his eyebrows, if that's even what you call those little lines. Reigen shakes his head, closing his eyes. Which was probably not the best choice, because he could fall asleep at any moment, "I can't stop being this version, I have to continue working my job. You, on the other hand, are not alive. You do not have responsibilities."

"Yeah, like what?" Dimple counters, "It's not like you have anything important to do. Ever," Reigen opens his eyes again, looking at Dimple with the slightest bit of annoyance, "If you hadn't noticed, I'm at this office every single day. I work so that I can continue to live. That's how alive people go about their life, you know. And also, I practically babysit all those kids that are around here all the time. You just laugh at them all day long and convince yourself that you're better than them, even though you know they're living a better and more fulfilling life than you."

"No, you switched that last part up. I babysit the kids while you sulk. When will you realize that you can have fun, too? You just never do anything. Your profession is just lying to people until you get money," Dimple continues, clearly wanting Reigen to get more upset. But he does not have the energy.

"Whatever," Reigen spits, "Like I care what you have to say about anything. We both know I'm more hardworking than you, and that's where the conversation ends."

And that's where it did end.

Dimple went somewhere else, probably to Mob's house or wherever else dumb ghosts go in the middle of the night. Reigen didn't actually have any work to do so late at night, his business isn't even open for customers until the morning. He was just writing reviews on alternate accounts to try and get himself some better ratings. So whenever he decided that he had made enough, he closed his laptop and also went home.

No, he wasn't sulking, whatever that meant. Staring at his feet angrily as he walked to the convenience store to get dinner was a regular grown-up thing to do. And he was grown-up, he was an adult. An important and famous adult, actually. He was responsible, reliable, helpful, and powerful.

He's 29, and still playing pretend.
