Balloon and Nickel are very good friends. They even have a secret crush on each other! After they confess, their bond grows stronger than ever. But then, one of them gets eliminated...

The day was boring. I just wandered around all day. Hell, I was so bored I even had a damn talk with Silver Spoon! Him of all people!
I was just sitting around, on one of the rocks, and was staring into space. I heard someone sit down beside me. I looked, only to see TBD look at me.
"Hey salmon-boi." She said.
"Oh, hey TBD." I replied, smiling slightly.
"How are ya doing? You're being more quiet and stuff."
I smiled more, happy she checked up on me.
"Oh, I'm fine, I'm just bored. If Nickel wasn't eliminated, I'd just talk to him and hang out with him. That'd never bore me."
I blushed a bit at the thought of Nickel. I was still bummed that he was gone, but I wasn't that sad anymore, because I knew he'd be ok. He's strong. I still incredibly missed him though.
"Y'know, when I'm bored, I explore the island. It's really fun, unless you get lost, hehe..." TBD scratched the back of her neck. "But I can come with you if you want. We can explore the island together!"
I smiled. I liked how TBD tried to cheer me up. I decided to go with her.
"Alright then!" I said. "It's been long since I've actually explored this place. Last time I explored this island, I found a dandelion field."
"Ooh, dandelions are pretty! Let's go." TBD started running.
I quickly followed her.
Eventually, we found a cave.
"Wow, I've never seen this cave before. MePhone probably must've generated it or something." I said, mesmerized.
"Haha, no, it was already here. I saw it. There are some cool gems in there. Follow meeee!" TBD ran inside the cave.
"Wh- hey, wait for me!" I called, following her.
We ran for a small while, then stopped. The cave was so beautiful! There were glowing gems of all kinds of colors. I was mesmerized and intrigued by the sight of it.
"Whoa..." I said out loud. "This is beautiful!"
"Heh, told ya!" TBD said happily, sitting down on one of the rocks. "I especially like the pink ones, they're the prettiest."
She got really close to a pink gem, her eyes seeming to sparkle a bit.
I walked around a bit, looking at all the gems, until I found a beautiful, heart-shaped gem. It was purple and was glowing a bit, just like the rest of the gems, but something about it made me want to take it with me.

I touched it. It felt like it was a bit loose in the wall, so I pried a bit and it suddenly came loose. I held it in my hands dearly.
"Balloon? heyoo? Where are you? I found this cool pink gem- oh, there you are!" TBD came running up to me. "What's going on?"
