Luz ducked behind the stands as she watched Eda rummage around in human trash.
"Now let's see what you got here" Luz raised an eyebrow as she watched her take something out.
The owl lady took a rectangular object out from the pile. If Luz remembered correctly it was phone. Luz remembers playing games on Mami's phone when she was bored.
"Garbage" The owl lady tossed it. Going along to grab the next item from her pile of human 'treasures'.
She grabbed a ring. It looked abnormally big for a regular ring that belonged to the human realm. She hoped no one actually tried to put that on.
"Garbage"
Next was a golden sand glass? She doesn't know. She thinks it was called a chalice?
"Garabage"
"That didn't look like garbage" She muttered. She leaned on the stand table trying to get a closer look on the next thing she takes out.
"Now this..." She took out a pair of green glasses with spring eyes popping out. "This will make me rich!"
Luz blinked. "This. This is the person that emperor coven has been chasing. For years" she sighed rubbing her temples.
Eda took out another object. It was a book. One that looked eerily similar. It caught Luz's attention as she realized what it was.
"And this... oh this will make good kindling"
Luz eyes widened "She's not actualing going to-"
she put the book under the candle
"Oh Shi-"
Quickly Luz jumped over the stand. Running over as fast as she can to grab the book from her hands.
"What do you think you're doing!?" Luz said angry. She opened her bag and quickly pocketed it for later.
"You can't just destroy a piece of literature like this you know!"
As Luz calmed down she looked up at her to see the glasses from earlier on her face. She took them off to look at her. A glare visible making Luz realize just what deep shit she just got herself into.
"Dang it..."

"So your not going to hurt me are you?" Luz asked a little nervous
"Hurt you?! Why would I hurt, a potentail customer!"
"I- what?" Luz blinked before shaking her head. Smiling "Wait no... I can work with this"
"Ugh yeah a potentail customer" Luz messed with the straps of my backpack. Something she usually does when she nervous or anxious
"Can I offer you a human foot with holes"
"Barb green human candy"
"oh oh how about this black shadow box that reflects only sadness"
Luz just started laughing as she grabbed the Tv. Luz remembered these. Her Abuela had one of these when she used to visit her back in the human realm. Unlike other TVs it was a portable TV. It needed batteries. Luz looked around to find the 'human candy' section. She grabbed what look like two batteries and popped it into the holder. She pushed the button on the side.
The TV turned on showing some guy in work out clothes. Showing a bit much more skin. Luz put it down in disgust. "Ew"
Suddenly Luz heard people walking towards her. She quickly moved away as people started surrounding Eda's stand. Enchanted by the TV loud sounds.
