Chapter 29

Suddenly he grabbed his phone from his pocket and grab it.

'Okay.' The only thing she heard him say to the other line.

'I have to go now. there's a car waiting for me not far here, you can go back now.'

And Elisia felt her mood drain down.

Elisia is walking right now back to the Gusto building without knowing if she would feel very annoyed or what. She peeked behind her and saw a man in a black suit holding an umbrella over her head and following her from behind. If she stops, the man stops and when she goes forward, he's like her tail just right behind her. He looked very serious and stern.

She remembered not long ago when after the phone call,  Grey said he has to go back and then suddenly a man arrived and she taught that the man is there to take Grey away but she was bewildered when she heard him say -

'Go and take her back.' He said and ordered like a boss and the man that newly arrived bowed his head submissively. Elisia was about to say that he doesn't have to but Grey turned his back on them and Elisia saw his wide back walking out into the rain, he was getting drenched without any care in the world.

'Miss, let's go?' The man said while opening a big black umbrella.

'Ah - you do not have to bother - -' Elisia was about to humbly refuse but the man cut her off.

'I am to obey an absolute order.' He only said and it was totally awkward so Elisia went along.

While walking, Elisia sighted. She wonders what kind of power Grey holds to the point that this man behind her felt like if Grey tells him to jump off the cliff, she feels like this man would really do it.

While they are getting near the Gusto building, Elisia saw a figure not far from them. By the build of this person, It was clearly a man and as they got near him, Elisia saw the lone person standing strong not far, with an umbrella in his right hand, his beautiful eyes looking at a distance, this person was waiting for someone. He might have felt them coming over and when he turned his head, he gave off a small smile.

Elisia without any care about getting soaked and fastly ran to him. She smiled very brightly and jump to hug him. It has been a long time since the last time he visited her. The man made sure to catch her as he is scared for her to get hurt.

'Brother Pram' Elisia called him, Pram looked at the little girl in his arms and pats her head.

'Silly, you will get sick if you are outside in this cold, and do not run while it is raining.' He scolded her. Elisia brushes off his words and asks what he is doing there.

'Isn't it obvious, I was waiting for you. I miss you cooking, let's go home.' He said.

Elisia felt nostalgic when he said home.

She had taken family for granted in her past life. She had a very good and wonderful parent but they left her early. She had her adopted parents and she did not treasure them. She has Alex and loves him as her only family but he has also left and abandoned her.

She told herself that she will not love again in this life but a family, can it be excluded? because when she looks at her brother Pram, he's someone who has truly cared for her. he helped her, and he was there for her. Elisia thought of going back to her words before and refuse to be his sister because when he is with her, she felt like a child. Elisia felt like she will start to care and not want to leave but when she saw Pram, she felt really bad.

Why?

In their past life, because of work, she has seen him a few times, and they became associates. It was very unfortunate. He has been on the top of the world but he died young. Something pinched Elisia's heart when she remembers the scene of his funeral. No one stood in front of the coffin as guests arrived. No one was there to greet the people who came to say their condolence. His coffin in front was just there, very still, not moving nor talking but it was the loneliest scene she had ever seen and a reflection flashed in her brain as she thought that it will be the same as her funeral when she dies someday.

That is why - they are two lonely people without family, she chose to be his sister and she will be there with him when he falls in love, when her brother gets married and when his time comes, she will be at his funeral, she will be there to greet people, to cry for him, and to be sad for his loss.

She will be his family in this life.

'Elisia?' Pram calls her.

'Wait' Elisia said and turn her back.

'Thank you for taking me back, this is my brother and I will be alright, you can go back now.' She said and bowed to him in gratitude.

What she did not know is when she did that, Pram glared at the man and the man's body hair stood. The man can feel it. The person beside the girl is not to be taken lightly. He just nods his head and quickly ran off.

'Who was that Elisia?' Pram asked her while smiling but one can see that he was not in the best mood.

'Oh, he's just a kind man to assist me getting back to the estate.' Elisia answers

'Oh? and what is my sister doing in the forest?' He asked again and sweat was wanting to fall off her temple.

Oh, dear... Here he goes again. Every time, her brother Pram can be quite very protective, Elisia was thinking that he can be a very good detective as he asks lots of questions.

'Oh right, brother, can you take me to the town tomorrow?'

'Why?' Pram asks.

'Well, I have a debt that I have to pay.' Elisia answered.
