'Isn't it about time?' Mrs. Pole asked, John looked at her confused

'What do you mean? time for?'

'To stop meddling with the youngsters, you have an owner and you watch her every move like a hawk' Mrs Pole said seriously, what she said made him pause and said

'I will make sure that what I do will not do any harm' John said and bowed his head to Mrs. Pole

Before he leaves, he hears one last thing from her

'We are old people, it's time to be at peace, settle down, and retire.' she advises.

It was early in the morning and as usual, Elisia went out for a run, right after, she changed into her uniform, and without the sun rising yet, she made her way to the Jade Palace.

It was stated on the contract to be there at nine in the morning but Elisia went earlier. She is planning to familiarise the place before starting. She walked in the same direction as yesterday as a short cut and she knew it would lead her to the back kitchen.

She saw the magnificent building even in the dark but unlike the well-lighted and good smell of food in the Gusto building, the Jade seems to be the opposite.

It was so quiet when she arrived and it was dark.

Elisia tried to open the door but it was locked.

So Elisia went and had a walk around the Jade Palace and it took her a long time to get to the Entrance.

There Elisia saw two big and muscled men standing at both sides of the huge, beautifully carved wooden door.

"Brother Joe and Sam!" Elisia called them in surprise.

These men were the same guard who was guarding the gate before, as far as Elisia knows, they are called the gatekeepers of the whole estate. Elisia knew them and the people who consisted of the whole security team because their food was being cooked and prepared in the Gusto Building kitchen and she was tasked sometimes to help in the kitchen and would be the one to serve the food.

Both men who had very serious expressions turned to look at the girl who called them and from a very stern face turned into a cheerful expression.

"Elisia!" Both of them called at the same time.

Elisia ran in front of them and asked happily "Why are you here?"

"Little Elisia, we are tasked to guard here today" Joe answered and Sam asked her back the same thing. "What are you doing here?"

After hearing this, Elisia scratched her head and answered

"Well, you see I am also tasked to work in the Jade building from now on" 

Joe and Sam looked at each other with confused expressions.

"You?" Sam asked

"Why?" Joe asked

"Me? Why not?" Elisia asked

If they looked confused, Elisia was more confused due to their reaction.

"Under the Estated policy, only the people with the qualification of A and above are the only people - -' Before Joe can react, Sam cuts him off.

"Ah Elisia, he means why are you here already, It's the crack of dawn" Sam said trying to avoid what Joe was pertaining about. Joe has always been his partner and he knows him very well. He is a person directly to the point and cannot lie. He is a strong foolish man which is why he is always partnered with Joe. Why? Cause Sam is a tactician and a strategist in the art of war. 

So in short, Sam knows a lot of things. To cut a long story short, Elisia has always been a special case on the whole staff of the estate.

She was special that she was given a special priority, one of the people on their list to be protected and safeguarded in the event of danger.

Also, she was allowed to live privately. Allowed to be given a vacant cottage and of course, everyone knows that she is the favorite one of the most authoritative Mrs. Polegrimo whom they need to bow their head, aside from Madam Janet, the head butler, and of course, the Family.

Elisia stared at Sam and Joe and she said

"What is Qualification A?" Elisia asked

"You don't know?" Joe asked looking at Elisia questionably, how come she doesn't know? Sam sighted, this girl has someone backing her, she was not hired the way they had, she does not known about this and Sam doesn't plan to let her know because they might get in trouble.

"Joe's meaning is that the staff in Qualification A is those who have Class A beauty" Sam lied

Joe looked at Sam bewildered and was about to question him when Sam put his hand on his shoulder. 

The two of them have a secret code. For example - If tapped on the head, it means to run, If tapped on the shoulder, it means let Sam do the talking so Joe has no choice but to remain silent and accept Elisia's glare.

"You mean I do not have Class A beauty?" Elisia asked but actually, she was not stupid, Sam's expression looked like he was lying, Elisia was good at telling people who were lying, she had been living longer than they were and the giveaway was Joe, knowing Joe, he looked like he was being bullied.

Elisia doesn't mind, these things are the Policy of the estate, and these terms she doesn't know are okay to be left unknown. She will not stay long either way.

"Of course you are! Joe doesn't have a good eyesight. So why are you here this early in the Jade Elisia?" Sam asked again and Elisia quickly answered. Never mind the previous topic anymore.

"Well, I always come to work this time, actually my call time is at 9 but I wanna familiarised myself with the place so I decided to come early"

"Wow, you are such a good employee" Sam complimented and Joe nodded as he agreed.

"The only thing is the kitchen on the back is close, so I have no way to enter. Also, aren't they gonna cook for the young master?" Elisia asked.

"Since you haven't had your training here, you don't know, but the young master doesn't have breakfast in the morning." Sam explained

"Same goes with us and all who are working in the Jade," Joe added.

Elisia was surprised.

"You don't get to have breakfast just because he doesn't? But Why?" Elisia asked bewildered, Sam smiled bitterly

"It's the policy, those who served directly to him must have after what their master just had."

"What?!" Elisia

That is absurd!
