A New Hire

I slowly walked to the studio Norman worked at. With Norman by my side to show me the way. It wasn't to far from my house, just a few blocks.

"Hey Norman?"

"Yes Sammy?" He teased.

"Stop it!" I hissed.

"Ok sammy~"

I sighed.

"Where did you even get a application for this place Norman?"

"From our friend Henry, you know he actually started this studio with Joey."

I looked at him in shock, I didn't expect Henry to start a stupid with Joey. Especially after the relationship they had together.

"This doesn't seem right.." I muttered

"It's ok sam Sam you'll have me there to protect you from scary joey."

I blushed.

"If anything, I'll be the one protecting you you big baby."

He laughed.

I loved that laugh. His beautiful smile. His beautiful brown eyes. I wish I didn't like my best friend.

I looked up to see this 4 story building. It looked newly built. I hadn't seen it before. It had an gigantic sign reading Joey Drew Studios, Home Of The Devil Darling!

"What kind of place is this?"

"Only one way to find out. You ready?"

"Your lucky your working with me, otherwise you'd never make it out alive."

He grabbed my hand, and we both walked into the studio. Not knowing that was the last time we'd see the real world.
