As Norman and I walked into the building we awkwardly let go of each other's hands. I blushed as he awkwardly looked at my hand. He seemed like he enjoyed it.

"You ok Sam Sam?"

"It's Sammy" I hissed "and I'm fine. Are you ready to get this interview done with?"

"Sure Sam Sam"

I glared at him.
He was evil, and yet, amazing.

As we approached the door Norman knocked on the door.

"Come in" a scruffy voice responded.
Him and I reach for the door and touch it at the same time. My face heating up from embarrassment.

"H-heh sorry Norman"

"It's fine Samuel, let's go in."

I stared at him for a second. He seemed mad but I didn't mention anything about it.

"Please, have a seat gentlemen."

"You must be Mr.Drew. Norman has told me about you."

"Please." He chuckled. "Call me Joey."

"Yes sir."

"So, Norman told me your interested in the music department?"

"Yes sir."

"Good. Good. Can you make music on short notice?"

"Depending on the situation yes."

"Excellent. Now, what wage do you think is fair for your skills?"

"Um. A little over minimum wage is fine? I'm not sure I haven't been asked that before."

"Excellent. Leave me your business card. I look forward to your future employment in Joey Drew Studios. All I need you to do, is sign this contract for me."

"What's the contract for?"

"Hippa, can't have you leaving and telling the studios secrets can we?" He chuckled

"I suppose."

As I lifted the pen, he smirked. Not a normal smirk. A smirk of a man winning the lottery. A kid getting what he wanted. A smile of greed.
I didn't think of anything about it at the time, but he knew.
He knew he made me sign my life away to him.

And there wasn't a thing I could do about it.
