I slammed my house door shut and leaned against it panting heavily, Brad just stood walking back and forth in the hallway,
"How are you not out of breath?!" I asked him
"I guess I'm used to this happening." He shrugged as he looked at the photo frames on the wall my mum had put up literally everywhere.
My mum wasn't home, she's at work, my dad, well we don't speak of him, and I don't have a sibling.
I looked up noticing Brad had gone walking off in my house, oh no.
There's a teenaged boy walking about in my house, what if he finds my room?! I stood up and began walking after Brad.
"Brad!" I yelled turning a corner only not to see him there,
"Brad?!"
"Br--ow!!" I yelped as I walked into a hard chest causing me to fall backwards landing back on the floor on my bottom yet again,
"That's my name don't wear it--are you okay?" Brad said chuckling slightly,
"No! Of course not!" He leaned down and grabbed my elbow helping me stand back up, again.
"Where's your mum?" Brad asked as he stared at a family picture of me, my mum, my dad, my aunt, uncle, and grandparents along with a few cousins.
"She's at work." I answered staring at the picture, I've never noticed that picture before, it's the only one in the house with my dad in it besides the one I have in my room.
"Where's your dad?" Brad asked
I could feel the tears coming from the back of my eyes..
