"It wasn't that big of a deal."

"Yeah, so you got worried.." I said trying to keep the story going.

"I mean, you just fainted, Carter. I thought something was wrong with you!" Brad said now looking at me

"You didn't have to call the hospital, it wasn't that big of a deal." I said quietly staring straight ahead at the empty wall in front of me.

"Yes, it was, Carter. What if you died? Ashley would've been disappointed."

"I wouldn't have died! I only fainted." I sighed, "You could've just called Ashley." He could've called her, only she doesn't know that I can faint sometimes.

"You know, instead of arguing with me. You should be thanking me," I raised an eyebrow as if to ask 'why'? "Because I saved your life."

That's kind of over exaggerating, don't you think?

I opened my mouth to speak, when the doctors and nurses rushed in, they made Brad go out and they started checking me, my temperature, how I'm reaponding to things, etc. The whole time I kept trying to call Brad back but he already left.

"Your free to go, your parents are waiting for you outside." The nurse once I changed from the hospital gown into my normal clothes,

"Thank you," I said softly then smiled at her, she smiled back at me.
