"Carter? Can I talk to you for a minute?" Ash asked making me look up from staring at the tv from Brad's lap as he ran his fingers lightly through my hair.
"Alone.." She did the secretive eyebrows when we had to talk about something you know secretive, I can't do the eyebrows because I can barely raise one eyebrow, let alone wiggle them or do secretive eyebrows.
"Okay, okay. I get your hint." Brad chuckled, "I'll leave."
"Nah, stay we'll go to my room." Ash walked over grabbed my wrist then walked me up the stairs into her bedroom
She closed the door behind us as I flopped backwards onto her bed, spread out staring up at the ceiling.
"Carter..what's your relationship with my brother?"
"Well, that was very subtle." I said sarcastically joking with myself, "I-I don't know really." I shrugged
"Do you, you know. Like him?"
"Like him as in like him, or like him as in like-like him?" I asked
"Like-like him." I started blushing as I sat up, crossed my legs, placed my hands into the middle of my crossed legs then stared down at him
"I know you like him, Carter. And I know he likes you back."
"I-um..erm." My blush darkened as I thought about Brad,
"Your thinking about him right now!" She squealed laughing slightly
"Oh hush,"
"But anyways, I was saying..you have my blessing."
"It's not like we're getting married." I laughed nudging her slightly causing her to laugh as well
"You would make an awesome step sister.." She smiled wrapping her arms around my shoulders as I leaned my head on her shoulder
"I love you," I smiled
"I know I love you too." Ash smiled back at me
What other way to complete a book than to end it with some best friend love..I'm so glad I completed this! First book I completed!! Woohoo!!
