Y/N Pov

Working for Tony Stark was the best job you've ever had. Everyone assumed that since Tony was a showoff and arrogant that he was a horrible person to work for, but thankfully that was never the case. Since you're one of the assistants that work for Tony, you mostly work in the compound dealing with typical administration stuff that no one else wanted to deal with. Doing this job was the best decision of your life! You got to live in the compound and got to hang out with the most amazing group of people you've ever met. This has truly been a dream come true.

One day you were walking through the compound to find Wanda Maximoff. The strongest and most powerful Avenger in your opinion. She had to sign off on the mission reports she filed for the last mission she had. You walked into the kitchen and found her humming a song that you've never heard, as she was leaning over the stove cooking something that looked like soup. You were caught off guard by how beautiful and flawless she looked standing there doing the most mundane task. You eventually snapped out of your trance when you remembered that two weeks ago right before you moved into the tower, you heard that they got engaged. It felt wrong to still think that they both were the most gorgeous people to walk the earth. You hoped that one day you had someone who loved you like they love each other.

"Good afternoon, Wanda!" you greeted as you walked into the kitchen. "Hello Y/N! How are you today?" She greeted back. "I'm doing well thanks for asking, but I do have some paperwork that I need you to sign for me. I think you forgot when you submitted your reports." The redhead smirked at the pot that she was stirring on the stove and turned to you with a look in her eyes that you didn't recognize. "Sorry about that, hand them here, I'll sign them now." You set down the papers you were carrying and handed Wanda your pen. Doing that, your fingertips brushed together, and it took everything you had not to flinch away from her. Not because you didn't want to. You were so touch-deprived that any type of physical contact made you feel drunk on emotions. Physical touch is your love language and It's been so long since you've had someone to call yours, you don't know the last time you got to just touch someone without it being some middle of the night hookup from one of your usual contacts.

It's no secret that you were a little on the plus side. Sometimes you felt down about how you looked but overall, you were confident in yourself, and you loved yourself. Just some days are harder than others. You work out occasionally and you tried to eat healthily, but you're also an emotional eater. When you're feeling upset or depressed in any way, you make your way to your hidden snacks in your private room that no one knows about. Lately, you've been emotionally eating more because your girlfriend of 5 months broke up with you because "she couldn't be seen with someone who doesn't take care of themselves and lets themselves go." That conversation plays in your head on repeat all the time. You're working on it.

Wanda signs the papers for you and hands you back your pen, again brushing your fingertips with her own in the process. You blush when it happens again and start to stutter unsure of what to say. "T-thanks Wanda. I-I'm gonna go and, you know" you shake the stack of papers in your hand to signal what you're talking about. "Put these into the system so.. Thanks" You run out of the room not forgetting the little smirk that played on Wanda's face at your inability to speak properly. "Stupid! Stupid! You can't keep it together for 5 minutes?!" you mumble to yourself as you walk away not seeing the older avenger walking out of the laundry room. "Hey Y/N, you good? I'm pretty sure I heard you talking to yourself just a second ago." She teased you. You shot your head up at the sound of the other voice and have an internal freak out that both beautiful women have caught you all flustered. "Oh! H-Hey Nat! Me? No, no I am good. I'm so good." You protest a little too much. You shake the papers in your hand again as you did to Wanda not even 2 minutes ago, "I'm just gonna go take care of this right here. See you later!" You walk away again mentally cursing yourself for embarrassing yourself in front of both women.  You left the older Russian in the hallway trying to contain her laughter, so she doesn't make you feel embarrassed. 'God can today get any worse' you think to yourself.
