S U M M A R Y
HADES had spent hundreds of years ruling the Underworld and maintaining peace and order amongst his subjects. Unlike his brothers and the other Olympians, mortals viewed him as an evil deity although he was very fair and just. Over time, he became withdrawn and lonely, rarely leaving his realm and associating with the other gods. That was until he laid eyes on the beautiful Persephone, who just so happened to be the daughter of Demeter, goddess of the harvest. With the help of his brother, Zeus, Hades reluctantly abducts Persephone and brings her into the Underworld.
PERSEPHONE is tired of her mother's overprotective demeanor and endless coddling. After all ... she was a grown woman who was capable of making her own choices. And when the God of the Underworld brings her into his realm against her will, she is desperate to reunite with her mother. But when she looks at his seductive and charming eyes, the goddess of spring must decide... is he no different from the perverse gods of Olympus — or her promise of a happy ending?
This is a retelling of the famous myth where the melancholic God of the Dead fell in love with the lively Goddess of the Spring.
