Mount Olympus.

Hades had no other choice. His feelings for the young and lively goddess became so intense that he had to seek help. His heart felt like it was about to break into a million pieces, even though it was highly unlikely.

And there was only one person he knew that could help him. His brother Zeus.

Sure, Zeus may be notorious for his affairs with deities and mortals alike but he was still
Hades' big brother. And brothers help one another, right?

After leaving his horses in the stables, he quickly sought out Zeus for advice, even if it was minor. The palace residents and staff greeted him with whispers and shocked gasps, just as they had two months earlier. He shrugged off their words, as he always did.

As he marched through the courtyard, he encountered the young Hermes.

"Oh, Uncle Hades!" What brings you here?"
his nephew asked.

"I need to speak with your father," Hades said urgently, Hermes raised a finger but was interrupted. "Please, this is urgent."

"Throne room, with Hera." Hermes gulped.

Hades' brow furrowed at his nephew's eccentric expression. Hermes appeared to have seen the most terrifying beast in the world. He nodded in gratitude and continued on his journey.

As he approached the door, he heard voices and noticed glasses shattering.

"Throughout the centuries, I have remained true to you. And yet you keep embarrassing me!" He could hear Hera screeching from inside, followed by another shattering of glass.

"Oh, please." Zeus spoke without emotion.
"Calm down."

She cried out. "What did I ever do to make you stray away and father bastards?!"

Hades stifled a moan. He had arrived at the worst time to hear Zeus and Hera arguing once more. Oh, the horror. How difficult was it for Zeus to keep it in his pants? He now understood why Hermes was looking so uncomfortable. And it wasn't just Zeus, but also Poseidon.

"Oh, Hera," Zeus said, sighing heavily. "You
know I love you."

Hades could not help but be disgusted by the way Zeus spoke. Hera was suffering as a result of his infidelity, but the way he handled it made it appear as if nothing had happened and her feelings were unimportant to him.

If he truly loved her, why does he continue to treat her like dirt?

"Says the fool who sleeps with countless whores."

As Hades began backing up quietly, the doors burst open, revealing Hera, who refused to acknowledge Hades' presence. She walked away quickly, sobbing with sadness and anger.

Hades sighed, feeling pity for his sister-in-law, and slowly entered the room.

The aftermath of the couple's argument had left the throne room in disarray. Fragments of glass, furniture, and even pieces of the stone column were scattered across the floor. Repairing the damage would take several days.

Zeus sat moping on his golden throne, staring at the clutter with little emotion.

"Honestly, brother, your wife is the goddess of marriage, but hers is failing," Hades said dryly. That would've sounded like a joke for a human, but the way he delivered it, it was clear that Hades had no intention of making it sound funny.

Zeus looked up, startled. "Hades? B-but I did not summon you."

The King of the Gods lurched from his seat to embrace his brother, who returned it with a slight coldness.
