(y/n)'s POV
It's been two days since my interview with E! news. I'm not gonna lie, Trent did make me think long and hard about the questions he'd been asking.

Is there something going on between me and Hailee? Not that I know of. All we did was have the morning together. We had breakfast and left to do our work. Nothing else.

At least... to me. Nobody seemed to believe that, no matter how much I tried to get it into their heads. Well — Flo's head, anyway.

"Y'know that's utter bullshit." Flo says as she takes out a few materials and ingredients to bake a cake. I'd normally help out, but like I said before — I've got a few issues with cooking memories.

"Oh, shut it. It's easy for you to say. You and Zach are completely the dream couple. Well... apart from the noticeable flaws." I explain, making Flo giggle a little.

"Okay, listen here. I've seen you and Hailee together and, quite frankly, I'd already had my suspicions. This week's photo kinda solidified it for me." Flo told me as she started taking out baking sheets and other materials for her to bake.

"Okay, so maybe there was a little moment Hailee and I had. I'll admit it felt a little... different." I say with a sudden shift in tone from laughing to solemn. Flo noticed it straight away.

"This doesn't have something to entirely do with Hailee, does it?" I look at Flo, saying nothing. She senses that I'm not gonna answer the question, but she doesn't need my response when she already knows what I'd even say.

"I see it on your face everyday, y'know. Well, on FaceTime when we're not talking in person." Flo says, trying to lighten the mood with some light banter. I give her a crooked smile.

"Look, I feel like you and Hailee are a good match. Why don't you guys talk more to get back to being close again?" I think about her suggestion. That didn't seem like a bad idea at all. There were just a few things weighing on my mind.

"It's just... it's a bit easier said than done, Flo. I mean Hailee is a beautiful and sweet person. But what if we're only in each other's lives as friends and nothing else?" Flo continues mixing some flour and eggs along with a few other things as she continues to listen to me.
