Hailee's POV
"Madison."

"Hailee." Madison's voice makes my blood boil and even sear as we're now in close proximity.

I'd be proud to say that I'd never liked her from the start — and I'll say it. I never liked her from the start! She'd always been a bit shady to me in a way.

The second I found out that she'd been dating someone else behind (y/n)'s back, my heart broke for (y/n). She was left in pieces when she found out too.

I take a look around at other faces, that is, Flo's and (y/n)'s. I look at Flo... she's livid. Then again, why wouldn't she be?

"Hi, (y/n)!" Madison says, coming in for a hug

"Hi, (y/n)!" Madison says, coming in for a hug. (y/n) looks up, backing away from her. She then crosses her arms to make a point. Florence then walks up to Madison, "Why don't you go ahead and try groping someone new?"

My eyes widened at that remark. That's just... wow. I knew Florence was bold, but even I thought she'd find that a little savage. But I'm not complaining.

"For the last time, (y/n) —"

"No, no, no. You're talking to me, not (y/n)." Florence says, preventing Madison from getting any closer. I see (y/n), who's not exactly feeling comfortable with this. What can I do?

I then can't take in anymore. The amount of tension in the room is getting to me, let alone (y/n). Lucky for us, I'm a great hugger. I don't waste a minute to walk up to (y/n) and wrap my arms around her neck.

She a bit taken aback, but then realizes what I'm doing. She hugs me back, wrapping her arms around my waist and burying her face in the crook of my neck. I am not gonna lie... I wished I could stay like this forever.

Madison looks at (y/n) and I

Madison looks at (y/n) and I. She gives me a look of anger and envy. She knows she can't do anything, because if she hadn't cheated, she would've been in the same position I'm in right now.
